I got the impression that he is confused rather than delusional, in other words he fails to comprehend events that just make no (common) sense (for now), due to lack of knowledge, rahter than mental illness. Anyway, both can work fine

As for the pre-airing itself, I also liked it, did not feel at all fast or slow paced (I have not played the game, I don't even have any idea what it's about, save for micro-waves and time-travel). As for the lack of BGM, I liked the natural background noise, it enhanced the atmosphere. Finally, the character designs were gorgeous, and can not really have an opinion on the animation from watching the stream.

My only hope is that not a lot of sci-fi theories pop out during the airing, making the thread(s) unreadable, as another show

PS: I've just seen in anidb that's it's 24 long... nice stuff

To be honest i didnt understand the 1st episode, also i just read is set 1 year after the events of Chaos, Head but i didnt watch that anime so do i need to watch C,H to understand Steins Gate? i mean are they related.. also what does this "alternate setting" means?

My point of view too... the CR professionals can only compare to your average speedsubs, and not only charge you for it, but also try to stop better quality work.

Well a few crew of the lab (not Okabe) are quite into cosplaying.
