At the beginning of gameplay movie before the music play, I can faintly hear Battler say "subete owaru, kore wa aoki shinjitsu da." and it sounds like OnoD says it

You have a good sense of hearing. There is indeed dialogue in there, and it indeed sounds like Ono.

There's BATTLER in the background for the scenario in the Tea Room. I hope he's playable. He should have a rather different moveset from Battler, hopefully.

Your right I do hear Battler talking before the music starts. It's really faint though.

So, maybe the game does have voice acting in it.

Again, highly unlikely for the first release, but I do definitely agree when/if he gets added, he should be more than just a cape on Battler. It would be awesome for his playstyle/moves to be based on his golden longsword. Ah, now I'm daydreaming...

this brings a nice point, what are we supossed to do with spoilers in this topic ? I mean, it's not like we can avoid mentioned caped batler as he is shown right in the screenshots, yet his role can't really be deducted, ro teh golden sword.

Since the game clearly expects you to have knowledge of Umineko up to at least Episode 6, and more likely soon to be the entire series, I think this topic should be the same.

I can help but be completely puzzled by that... "french" they are using, but weirdly fine in term of grammar for some reason.
I wonder if I can help them should they are going to make an extension, because it is way worse than any engrish you can have...

Why don't they just try to find somebody who actually knows the language before adding it in? Or you know... just not use it.

I'm confused/surprised about their choice of French, especially since it's obvious they don't actually know the language perfectly. Usually fighting games use either Japanese or English/Engrish and leave it at that.

Maybe it's a hint that French-Bread (of Melty Blood) are involved in this and they want to make use of "Flench" as one of their trademarks now.

Anyway, although this video was very short, it definitely confirmed something:
Offensive switch is called "AttackTouch" which will be quite important with Lucifer, whereas the defensive switch is called "DamageTouch".
Regular switch is "Touch".

Now, why is it important with Lucifer? The thing is that Lucifer's ability is "AttackTouch", allowing her and her partner to switch in/out once -without- using the change gauge . That means you can definitely harass a lot with her and since Lucifer has a pesky move that teleports you behind the target, it can lead to a lot of ambush and opportunities with the correct character with her.

Summary of the current metafield abilities:

Battler's Ability: Resurrection (HP are recovering over time)

Ange's Ability: StunBoost (Increases chance of stunning the opponents with your attacks)

Shannon's Ability: AutoGuard (guard is always automatically up if in a guardable situation)

Kanon's Ability: SilentAttack (decrease the SP gained by the opponent from your attacks)

Beatrice's Ability: InfinitySP (Special Attacks do not consume any SP bar)

Lucifer's Ability: AttackTouch (Allows you to use AttackTouch without using the change gauge once)

Virgilia's Ability: ????

Ronove's Ability: CounterBoost

Eva-Beatrice's Ability: Berserk

Siesta 410's Ability: BreakBoost (Increases chances of breaking the opponent's guard)

I sense a lot of atrocious pairing with Beato + 410, or Lucifer + Battler...

No, I was just making a bad joke since French-Bread is a Japanese company known for making fighters like this and this is using French and all... yeah. French-Bread... French... heh... I-I'll leave now.
