I would very much enjoy a second season, however my understanding is that the manga is ongoing. I think we can probably wait a little longer, and hopefully the mangaka will have time to push the story to a conclusion. Then, then I'd like to see a well done season 2.

I've just marathoned this series and it is rather solid and I liked the way it stuck to semi-realistic physics and techniques, unlike many football/soccer anime and dare I say Prince of Tennis? Definately loved the interactions between the characters and the comedy in it!

In ep26, an insert song called "Sunflower" sang by Hirohashi Ryou (Tama) is credited at the end. I've flicked through all of ep26 again but I simply cannot find it being used. Does anyone have an idea where it was used, as I actually got into Bamboo Blade because of this song in Kawai Eri's memorial album.

I started watching this show back in 2007 and was somehwat enthralled by it.. it's definitely been a struggle to watch anime these days (lucky college and highschool kids :P) but I managed to finally finish up Bamboo Blade.

This show was both fun and entertaining and I look forward to upcoming seasons if any! more Tama-chan couldn't hurt

ACG（All Contents Gateway）plan to release the AVG game of bamboo blade on PSP in spring. And with this, on their official website started a poll whether a second season should be aired of not. (So what ya waiting for! go vote!! http://www.acgateway.com/bamboopsp/) But of course, we know the answer is going to be yes anyway

. On the other hand, they have also started a bbsforum for all the fans to communicate~~

Hope it will get a release in october this year, should have enough contents.

They plan on forwarding the poll results to various companies that were involved with the original production (will potentially be involved in a future production?). Dev blog is a little bit vague on the specifics of which companies the info would be forwarded to.

oye... I have it all in my library (amazing...).

Will rewatch it since I'm watching so little this season but if I remember it was charming. If my recollections are true, will certainly be buying it.

It would come out even if 100% fans voted no lol. (But of course 99%'s bond to vote yes)

I just want more Tama!! Hope they make some keychain series too. So far only the two kotobukiya and Griffon Enterprise figures are worth buying~~

not sure if it's keychains, but the braver deformed chars, I believe are part of the limited edition psp game...atleast, the silouette of those are there when you click on the limited edition link for the psp game on the homepage...

F*** yeah! This was one of my favourite shows of the past year! A second season would be awesome!

As I understood it, in the manga there was an even more powerful opponent for Tama-chan to overcome than what's-her-name? Would we be correct in assuming that will be the main plotline?

can't wait until 2nd season. I've been such a big fan of this anime. I even joined the kendo club because the anime made it look so awesome. The bad thing was that Kendo is actually harder then it looks. >_<;; senpai's pushing you to walls, knocking you down and hitting you when your down. >_<;;
