( It's a terrible meta-reference. A few days prior to writing the chapter, I wrote a one-shot which starred four original characters... It was mostly a short conversational piece about the media and ghost stories taken from a normal person's point of view. It wasn't anything special. In the end of it, I decided to kill them all in a car wreck...

...Which subtly implies that I killed Kyon off when the 'man in the sweaty suit' appeared.

Well, I suppose if you hadn't read it, it can also be interpreted as some random weird guy kidnapping him and raping him off screen.

He probably doesn't like being a part of such a bad joke.

Hello, I'm new member to the site. Joined today.

I have read this post before and like what you guys and gals talk about here. Me myself love To aru fan fictions. I have read all of your stories. I doubt that I would write a fanfiction because I would not be able to keep characters in character. However, I do draw scenes I read from fanfictions. I drew this seen from Mr.Kyon's Promise fic.

PS. I'm not that good of an artist, but I tried.

I tried to draw it better, but that is the best I could do it. I might color it as well, but that might be a while or screw it up.

It's not valentine related, but it does contain people being tortured with pop songs and the best romantic crack scene I've ever written so it should be good.

The humming of Emmanuelle filled the small kitchen as the aroma of chocolated rose into the air. A girl with a flower on her black hime hairstyle was swinging her head lightly back and forth to the tune as another girl nervously dipped marzipan balls containing quince paste into the bowl of chocolate, moved the balls around to ensure it is evenly coated, and set it on a plate carefully. Misaka Mikoto was on the verge of breaking down with this delicate operation.

"Relax, Misaka-san. You're doing very well. Don't worry too much about a small mistake, since that's expected with homemade bonbon."

"Sorry, Saten-san, making you let me use your kitchen again. But I HAVE to keep this from getting attention....."

"Oh, just like last year when you made those cookies?"

"!!!!!!"

Ruiko grinned at the flustered reaction of Mikoto. Thankfully, this time there was nothing at the edge of the table to be pushed onto the floor, so it wouldn't be getting that messy again. She's so cuuute.

"Finally done....." Mikoto said with a sigh as she put the last bonbon onto the plate. The operation drained all concentration out of her. Ruiko took the plate and placed it in the refrigerator to dry the chocolate to perfection.

A lot of things had happened over the past three months, yet STILL he didn't seem to completely understand her feelings for him. Sure, he probably saw her as a junior who was also a comrade in all those stuff he did, yet that was the very thing she loved and hated about him. Why couldn't he take a hint by now?!?!?! That was the reason she was going through all the trouble to give him chocolate for Valentine's Day. If he still didn't understand it this time, then there was no hope.

"It's hopeless....."

"Don't be so down, Misaka-san. This time I put some special ingedients into the chocolate, which should work like a charm."

"..... What did you put in?"

"Some sugar which I got from around here. There was this one package of "Measure Heart" sugar, which was supposed to help people get close to those they liked, and I managed to get it."

"Why does that worry me....."

"Don't worry~ I tried it, and it seems to work~"

Ruiko then took out the bonbons from the refrigerator, and helped Mikoto package them.

After school the next day, Mikoto was going to the place where Touma was supposed to be waiting. She had told him to be there through a text message, and hoped that there was nothing to make him budge from that spot. Misfortune did seem to follow him, and she couldn't afford to have it strike him again. No no!

Today, Uiharu and Ruiko were with her, with Kuroko busy in Judgement work. It was probably the best, since who knows what might happen if Kuroko saw what was going to happen? It would be a disaster of disappearing proportion, definitely what she wanted to avoid at all costs. Still, with two friends next to her, she might just be able to be honest for once. And there he was, leaning against a wall.

Mikoto froze at the scene, hugging the chocolate to her chest as tears appeared from her eyes. Noticing this, Ruiko broke out into her coaching mode.

"Now Misaka-san, you can't turn back now, can you? Right, Uiharu!"

"Tha, that's right Misaka-san! A Tokiwadai lady shouldn't run away from what she set out to do!"



Swallowing deeply, Mikoto ran towards Touma, and almost collided him before managing to stop right in front of him. She thrust the chocolate into his arms and whimpered. "Thi, this isn't because I had leftover chocolate, or is it a friendship one! It's the real thing! Be thankful for it!"

The expression on Touma's face was priceless. He looked, bewildered, down at the package and up at Mikoto several times, unable to believe the situation. He, Kamijou Touma, getting choclate that wasn't a friendship one? What was the world coming to!

"..... Could you try one?"

"..... Sure."

Touma opened the box and saw the smooth bonbons in it. Astonished at how perfect they were, he picked one up with his right hand, when he felt his Imagine Breaker activating.

"Misaka, did you put magic in this?"

"Fwoh!? Why!?"

"Something was in this. I sensed my power destroying what was in it. Could it be..... love potion? Misaka is trying to make Kamijou her slave!?!?!?"

"Fwoh!?!?!?"

Bolts of electricity began flying as both began panicking

A girl in a red dress was at a fancy cafe, when a member of the Hound Dog came up and sat down at her table. She asked casually, "What happened to the essence?"

"It seems to have been lost. The last place we managed to follow it was to a sugar processing factory, where it seemed whoever stole it hid it among the bags."

"A shame, really. I was amazed that they found a way to distill Measure Heart into some powder and set it so it regulates the distance between people's hearts close to 0. Could they do more?"

"No, all the machines and data connected to it were destroyed in the explosion. It seems it was an inside job."

"Again, a shame really. We might have been able to make money by selling it as a love powder."

Hamazura Shiage was dead tired. For some reason ITEM got this mission to destroy a labotory, and he had done so, while taking some powder thing that he was supposed to hand over if possible. However, he got chased over to some sugar processing place, and had to leave behind most of the stolen stuff. He did have a single package which he had with him, although he never got the chance to do anything with them because he was being the same lackey at Joseph's for ITEM and Fremea. Not exactly something he liked.....

As he went off to get drinks, the girls noticed a bag on the table that Shiage had left behind, with word "sugar" on the outside. Rikou opened it and gave each member a sample of its sweetness, when Shiage got back with the drinks. They all looked over at him at the moment they had the sugar in their mouth. Moments later, the Level 0 was knocked down and dragged out of the restaurant, and when he woke up he saw the scene of the four girls wearing bunny suits. With a hungry look in their eyes and whispering "Hamazura~♥", they jumped on him. Muffled screams could be heard as the bed on which Shiage was on turned red from nosebleed.

It's been a long time since I wrote something remotely romantic, and combined with my rushing this in 30 minutes during work, it isn't that good. Still, I hope that you enjoyed it.
