Eh, the atmosphere in this new arc feels rather weird. Doesn't really seem to have the same vibe compared to when there were all in the old club room. Also the addition of the those two new characters as the Vice Presidents seem unnecessary, not to mention Shiriashi and Miyabi sort of feel like supporting characters now.

But I guess we'll see how this will turn out...

The latest chapters have been lackluster imo. Unlike the first half where Yamada searched for the new witches for 10-15 chapter, the latest chapters are all about the new witches popping out one by one and Yamada finding them in the most convenient fashion ever. Imho, the story should have concluded with them dating in the end.

The manga still has its moments when Nene truly shines for her love of Yamada and Yamada being a real man for Shiriashi.

I read this starting 2 days ago and I have to say, did everybody stop giving a shit of who they kiss at some point, I have seen more straight, Yaoi and Yuri kissing here than any adult manga I know of

That's what makes this a fun rom-com, no spending 100 chapters working up to one kiss or going mental from sharing a can of drink.

I've started reading this, too.

I really want to ship Odagiri x Yamada. She my favorite girl, atm.

I know it's set in stone for Shiraishi x Yamada, but it's just hard to see that emotionless girl and emotional Yamada together in many cases.

It's a bit lonely here to be left out like this, even though ch. 156 just came out yesterday.

As for shipping thing, I personally root for Yamada x Odagiri a viable shipping. Even though Yamada x Shiraishi is all over place (which I like it too), but don't mind me to side with the underdogs, just like I always been. Who knows? Nene might be the one if Urara isn't or in reverse.

Either way, both are the ideal choice for Yamada. Regardless, I wouldn't either one.

I think there will be an arc about the secret history of the school and the original seven witches. I would think that Yamada is a descendant of one of the 7. We will find out later.

Man... I'm on chapter 115 and this series is very painful to read.. Someone please tell me it gets better.

Pre-90s was good, but then this series just falls apart. I'm convinced the author does not know how to develop characters properly. The entire Supernatural Club gets shafted, Shiraishi barely has any interaction with the main character, and all of the previous witches get sent to Professor Oak for storage.

Now there's 14 new witches? What is this a joke?

And this author's constant agenda of trying to push this idea that "individuality is bad, group is good" is getting really annoying. In chapter 114 we finally have a chance to give Yamada and Shiraishi some much needed one-on-one time for her birthday... and it gets typically cancelled out with Miyamura's bullshit.

I beg to differ otherwise. The focus shift from supernatural club to student council is an interesting settings. For you, it maybe out of place, but it's probably for the better to avoid being too linear. Considering there may be some loose ends to tie up. It also the best to keep the supernatural club out of the conflict.
