Doubtful. My new job seems to be really busy and I don't have as much time as I used to. I guess I can give some small summary on what happened in the volume, but I doubt I can make a summary as detailed as I used to.

Since the tournament was suspended after the incident involving Valkyrie Trace System going berserk, Houki gave up on the proposal since she couldn't win the tournament
(And she was paired with Laura and was defeated by Ichika/Charlotte pair)

When Charlotte announced her true gender in the classroom, Rinn rushed from her classroom and demanded an explanation, all the while trying to kill(?) Ichika. Her blow was blocked by Laura who intervened... And Laura decleared Ichika to be her 'bride' and kissed him.

That in turn infuriated Cecilia who began to snipe him with BT, and Charlotte joins forces to hunt down Ichika....

While all that was happening, there is no mentioning of Houki... she was probably busy inside her head to organize her thought, that Ichika actually asked her out.

Just a little question to anyone that can answer. In the anime, regarding the promise of Ichika to "go out" with Houki if she won the tournament, Houki found out that Ichika meant to just "go out shopping" and kicked him for his denseness. My question is, was it the same in the novels?

Just reading some things off the early pages and I found this so I just wanted to be sure if things happened differently or if I'm just misunderstanding what zephyr wrote. What he wrote made it sound like Houki never found out what Ichika really meant (to just go out shopping), that she just turned him down instead of kicking him and afterwards, was too busy with her own emotions that she didn't react to Charlotte's reveal and Laura's kiss.

It's just like in the anime, Ichika told Houki he doesn't mind if Houki wants to go shopping with him and Houki kicks(? Not sure on what punishment Houki gives here) Ichika.

For some reason, I just saw the similarities between sakura wars and IS........the fact taht the suits are not just machines, the colors of the ones used bu the main characters, and the weakness of the main character................

Lets be fair here:
Houki also joined the hunt for Ichika in a an IS, not doing the lame face expression like in the anime. The name wasn't explicitly mentioned, but who else used Japanese Sword (unless you think it's Chifuyu)

All the first five are hoggish, only Tatenashi and Kanzashi who didn't hit Ichika at the end of their book which they were introduced. Let's see if the author would like to degrade these two and the next harem members

In the epilogue, Tabane said to Houki, "I've been always, always waiting for this" (zutto, zut-------to) :P and describe Akatsubaki as "Alternative Zero" (the Japanese kanji means "No Substitute), "High End", and "Over-spec"

Sakura Wars? More like Houki Wars :P

Which volume's epilogue is this again? My memory is failing me cuz I can't remember Tabane calling Akatsubaki as Alternative Zero =.="
