According to Korra's VA, Legend of Korra will resume in mid-april. Which is like, holy shit, only like 2-3 weeks from now. Where are the promo materials? Because book 1 was heavily publicisized, so I'm very suprised the first we hear of the continuation is from the VA. Dunno if its to be trusted TBQH.

Not that I have high hopes anymore for book 2. Even discounting that stupid douche Tenzin, man, the pacing was far too quick for book 1 and the climax was pretty much nonexistent. And let's not speak about how underdeveloped the main romance was... XD

Varney herself has debunked that rumor. There's no way Nick would air Korra that soon with no promotional blitz.

After watching a LP of Bioshock Infinite, I had a rather morbid thought. What if you took a metal bender and turned him into a Handy-man, stripping away all but the barest minimum needed to move the metal body? I have no idea how the two crossed in my mind.

I thought Avatar/Korra didn't count as an anime series? Well whatever, I just hope they do a better job with Bolin and Asami this time around. Please for the love of freakin Mike, less Mako!! He was my least favorite character of the dang series, or at least fix him so that people can stand him some what on the screen, every episode in my opinion he got worse and worse as a character, at least with Zuko you could understand even in season 1 but with this guy it was just UGH!!

With Book 2 slated to begin in September 2013, I wonder if we could get this thread shifted to the 'Upcoming Series' section? Also they aired episode one of Book 2 at SDCC.

Spoiler:

-Apparently angry spirits are appearing and attacking people.
-Korra's uncle, Unalaq who heads the northern water tribe wants to teach Korra how to get closer to the spirit world. Korra, thinking she knows enough about element bending decides to go with him, against Tenzin's and her father's wishes. Tenzin had wanted Korra to travel to the air temples for further training.
-Unalaq comes across as a conservative who thinks the southern tribe has strayed too far from their spirituality which he thinks is what's angering the spirits.
-Unalaq's children are a pair of male and female twins named Desna and Eska. Bolin initially mistakes both of them for girls.
-Asami now heads Future Industries which is facing bankruptcy as no one wants to do business with them on account of Asami's father who supported the Equalists in Book 1.
-Mako is now a cop.
-Bumi, Tenzin's older brother has retired from the military and now freeloads with Tenzin and his family, much to his dismay.

Good to see Tenzin's siblings^^ Too bad there was no Lin.
Also Korra is clearly miles away from mastering Avatar state. And her air-bending makes so sense to me since she is still just as brutal...

Though have to admit my fave part was with Asami/Bolin, good to know that those two are still getting along.. Maybe even better than before.

Same. While I don't mind twins, I don't think she works for Bolin's fun personality.

Asami and Bolin have far more chemistry and this season only enforced it.
They are both kind, they are both fun, they are both pretty, they are both strong and they are both heartbroken by Makorra.

Not to mention they do seem to enjoy each others company and kinda compliment each other since there are differences as well. For one Bolin is more outspoken and in a way dumb, in a nice way.

Even if it won't be a pairing, I still would love them to keep staying friends.

And if they do, then I want them to take their time. Start as friends and gradually develop into something more instead of just being pushed together like Makorra with no development.

And if there are 2 more seasons planned, I don't mind to wait till next seasons as long as it is done right with no forcing and sloppy love-triangles.

It seems to me that they have increased the comedy with Bolin this season. Not that I'm complaining.

I disagree. I kind of like seeing a supportive boyfriend for a change. So hat's off to Mako! You go guy! Become a great detective and make us all proud.

And..Asami's not even on Bolin's radar. He's going for the water tribe chick who's more aggressive than Korra.

Just because someone is not on your radar at the start doesn't mean it can't appear later.

And well it is good to see Mako actually being decent for once. Though in all honesty there are 80% chances that in real life he would cheat on Korra too. I never will be able to like him.

I doubt he would cheat now since everybody in town knows who his partner is and this is a show for teens and kids. Besides, he really can't do anything now without someone tattling. The emphasis is probably now on Korra's spirit training etc with a side of Asami rebirthing Future Industries.

And..if not too many people go after their sibling's ex. That would be tacky. I guess those Water Tribe girls are considered great catches in this universe.
