Exactly as the title says, out of all the series you've watched, which guy character (in your opinion) displayed the most affection? As in loving someone in a way that captured your heart and made you swoon? Here's my list:

Seiya from Sailor Moon last season
Hotohori and Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi (Tamahome was a little too overbearing)
Solomon from Blood+

All of the guys above esp. Seiya, Nuriko, and Solomon loved in a way that tugged at my heartstrings/made my heart bleed. So now I'm curious about everyone else's list...what other anime guys loved in such a way that forever endeared them to you (melted you and made them unforgettable)?

Maji De Watashi Ni Koi Shinasai.. a bit ecchi one sided love
Stein's Gate ...later half

It's hard not to include Hikaru Genji, the protagonist of purportedly the world's first novel, the Tale of Genji. It's been adapted into an anime a couple of times, but the most recent version, made for the 1,000th anniversary of the novel, aired on noitaminA in 2009 with the title Genji Monogatari Sennenki. Here is the first meeting between Genji and Fujitsubo when he is the young son of the emperor and she the teenaged girl about to become the Imperial consort and his stepmother. Sorry but there are only Chinese subs on YouTube.
