Man this series should just be called : Cliches: The series.
And come on, Babylon? Babel? The north pole? Warp Particles that is some kind of force that surrounds us and moves through us and all living things under the surface? And I'm pretty sure that the MC and the prince are either brothers or cousins that don't know their related yet. This series is ridiculous and very very standard adventure. It has a few interesting elements, but it's way down on my interest list.

This series is rather uninteresting...usually I'm a fan of fantasy adventures but something about the main characters just doesn't make me feel invested in them.
Endora is a strange place as well. I think it's mostly the story that I'm not fond of with what they've shown so far. I hope it improves but having doubts now.

There's a reason I don't even bother with either of the series you mentioned either.

This is one of the worst fantasy animes I´ve seen lately. The animation was terrible, the characters uninteresting and plain, and the story so far is the classical person in a strange world must save the other world cliche. Even the godamn weapon designs are horrible and don´t even get me started on those eyebrows.

I feel like this show's pacing is still rather awkward. Shun is getting some better experience with his weapon I guess? But his relationship with Emilio (the other main guy) still seems rocky.
Overall, underwhelming after the third episode. I hope the show gets serious soon with its storytelling.

SIX episodes before revealing Alicia is Emilio's childhood friend, even when she appeared in episode 1? You've got to be kidding me. Honestly Alicia tripping up my osananajimi radar was the only reason I kept on going (only paying half-attention I admit). While I still think it was worth trudging through half the cour just for than one scene between Emilio and Alicia, I still find it very surprising to have them reveal it so late.
So far, it's incredibly boring. At first I thought that the premise has shown great promise, but I feel that the execution rather lacking. It's not as if the director/series comp are new at this either, as I like the former's Gigantic Formula and the latter's Lucky Star, so maybe they just don't mesh well together? Reminds me a lot of M3 where it sounded good on paper, but I just didn't really 'feel it' once the show actually aired for a few eps.

The spoiled prince's attitude annoys me the most and the pacing seems a bit off. I'll probably just breeze through the rest of the series just for completion's sake. Series is pretty meh for me right now.
Theory: Delzaine is probably Shun's biological dad and the reason he is obsessed with Babel is so he can reunite with his family in the surface. And Shun's dad in the surface is the emo prince's biological father and he wants to reunite with his family down in Endora, which explains why he constantly researches at the lab and has the warp relic gem.
