The fight is on and as some had guessed Minato's Sekirei have pulled off a combo attack using Tukiumi's water and Homura's fire to achieve;


The Steam dragon attack.


Minato and Musubi uses this as cover to prepare for Musubi's norito.
(Musubi has been counting how many times they had kissed.)
Yeah, Tukiumi is pissed.


And Musubi unleashes the Kuma Ryusei (Ken?!)
Now where had I heard this technique before?

I remember that we were discussing what kind of strategy would Minato base his sekirei picks in each battle, and this recent chapter shows Minato taking an approach that I agree with: two major element users blasting stuff with Musubi as the point woman or tank.

One of the great things about Minato's harem is not only does he have single-numbered sekirei, but they're also all balanced as a team in terms of battle power and ability.

Now, if only he has Miya another "fighter" type with him besides Musubi...

All Sekirei is Fighter type, but if you mean Melee type Minato have Kazehana

I don't think so... If we're going to focus on the idea of "types" (as in, a particular kind of sekirei hence the word "type"), then some sekirei just aren't specialized for fighting. They can, and some can even try, but sekirei like Matsu are just more suited for supportive or specialized tasks.

But yes, by "fighter" I meant "melee" types.

Not quite, not all Sekireis are considered Fighter type. I mean we haven't even been introduced to all the types yet. The only thing we know for sure is that Musubi is a literal fighter type. Meaning she doesn't use any kind of elemental control, but rather fights with her fists using an enormous amount of strength.

There are many things that contradict that point: Minato's Sekireis are incredibly diverse in powers. Therefore, this diversity makes it even more complicated for opponents trying to defeat one of his sekireis. He has sekireis from the disciplinary squad, is is under the care of the housekeeper. (No.1 Sekirei). With the current issue out, Minato has even grown his Sekirei numbers once again. Minato is not doing this purposefully, but rather his very own kindness and passion to win and save the Sekireis whom he loves so much lures even more to come to his aid and fight alongside his team.

Please die o disciplinary squad...with a lot of pain..what ever death is fine for me. Burn till crisp, impaled, crushed, chopped, drowned, or else

there's nothing more satisfied than see the bad die especially that MBI chairman or that young she-male Ashikabi

I would love to see what Minato is like when he's angry since he is usually a gentle person. If Higa mentions that he kidnapped his sister, I would to see Minato throwing some fists at Higa's face Ah, I wish these chapters would have 30+ pages again.

I concur. But I suppose what will most probably happen is that Minato will just unleash his Sekireis on Higa and co.

What'd be funny is if Higa tries to play the hostage card, only for Minato to answer "I know. My sekirei freed my sister and her sekirei five minutes ago. By the way, your place's now a ruin. Sorry about that."

Should be pretty interesting when he finds out about his sister. There is a great potential to build the ranks, as there are a lot of people with similar interests involved. I mean, hes going to be rip-shit pissed his sister is taken hostage, Kuu's brother will be happy to see Kuu is okay, Kazehana can mention Uzume along the way, Minato's mom would probably want to know Kuu is safe, and could help Uzume's ashkibi... It could turn into quite the rescue party! Higa doesn't stand a chance!

If all goes well he'd have his sister, her sekirei, Uzume, maybe some of Higa's deserters, he could end up with enough raw power to openly resist the discipline squad. Once that obstacle is out of the way, its time for war!
