Interesting how, after bringing Furuya back, Toei seems to be casting such prolific voice actors for the original Bronze Saints this time. I wonder if they intend to keep them for every project from now on? It wouldn't be a bad thing, considering how much i loathed the voice acting in Inferno/Elysios. |

No i meant that servant is going to tell mars about eden is betrayel before he even gets to the thunder ruins. And mars is most likely going to throw him in one of his prisons. So by the time the others get there, they will probably find a imprisoned eden in the castle.
And yeah they are obviously not related at this point. Eden has no chance though, aria already has too many dead flags around her. |

This was a classic Saint Seiya style episode.
Spoiler:
Also there's no doubt that Yuuna is a bro to Kouga. She's been a very good addition to the franchise saving it from all the 80s sexism which is so out of date now.

Nah. She's the reason for Koga's and the other's power ups. So she has a long life to took forward to as the damsel in distress for the group and a possible Koga love interest in the future. Just a thought...how many years is left on Athena's cycle? If it's like within the next 10 years, then Athena will have a mother figure (Aria) and a father figure (Koga) ready for her when it happens.

It was necessary, but I was kinda miffed they didn't even bother hinting Saori & the rest of the Bronze Saints amongst the people Hyoga cared about.
C'mon, must it all be about just your mama? To be fair, he does have Cosmo AIDs. He can't exactly stress himself too much.

I agree with you. It wasnt completely aria is doing that is leading him to rebel against mars. In episode 10 he looked disgusted by the dark power engulfing paleatria. And in episode 13 he was looking at the tower where the students were trapped with a guilty look on his face.
Seeing Aria with no freedom whatsoever and the decading state the earth is in right now is what is giving him the final push to turn to the good side. And hopefully finally join kouga is group later. |

You know what happened? Kouga and Aria being able to resonate while they are thousands of miles away from each other. |

The problem with that is that Saori already completes that role. After the Lightning Core is destroyed, Aria will become redundant: Eden will have joined the gang, everyone will already have a power-up item, all the mysteries surrounding her will have been cleared... keeping her around would be kinda pointless. If anything, right now what is most likely is that she is the Light Core, sacrificing herself to stop Babel once and for all; not to mention that Kouga needs his own Cosmo Crystal. Better to die poignantly than to fade into irrelevance.

Saori really hasn't been that impt yet. You need her at the end to cure everybody else's Cosmo AIDS but that prob all there is to needing Saori imo.

Saori is Athena, Earth's protector and the leader of the Saints. She is also the key of Mars' plan and he is keeping her in Mars itself... rescuing her will obviously be the main plot point of the 3rd cour. |

they prob are still going to need a lot of energy to do it. Aria resonates with Koga so keeping her alive and around would prob be a good thing. Also, no one's died yet in this title, except for possibly Seiya. Athena is being drained slowly so she's not that impt if Aria is alive. They could just reincarnate her at the end as a baby if her cycle is up imo. This title is going out of the way to "retire" the previous Saints imo. They prob intend to do the same thing to Athena.

Either way, my point is that from a narrative standpoint giving Aria a dramatic, well-done death scene with meaning is better that keeping her alive while fading into the background for the upcoming 12 Houses arc. |

Saori can be reborn as she cycles every 250 years and be raised by Aria. No one's mentioned yet if she's near the end of her cycle. She's prob been in a few cycles where she died before her time and the Saints kept their end up. This cycle could be one of them. As Aria is appealing to the current otaku generation, I find it hard to believe that she is going to be killed or irrelevant to the rest of the series after the Thunder core is obtained.
