Wow, Manglobe nailed it this episode. The umbrella throw, the Delta Force of Love, the mall event, Ayumi furiously blushing, the guitar scene, the short story, Simone and Cashiragi, and Keima getting destroyed in PvP...there were some skipped parts, but the amount of blushing in this episode OMGFTW.

Yui continues to be a joy to watch, they really did the scene of her and Keima real well. I was also surprised at how well Shiori and Keima's story became and it didn't feel rushed. I'm a little curious about how they'll handle the next episode especially since they lack Fiore.

Wow, that was a great episode. I could not believe it ended when it did. I was engrossed in the episode the whole time and totally lost track of time. This season has been great so far.
Well, the plot thickens, as they say, as it seems that the higher ups of the demon world are also interested in the goddesses. How they knew about the goddesses in the first place is questionable. How suddenly everyone knows about the goddesses is questionable. Then again, where are the allies of the goddesses? Are they the only ones in existence? Why doesn't Keima try to find beings from Heaven?

it was about as expected and I think I figured out why Yui is so difficult for Keima to deal with. Remember how the loose soul made them switch places. The reason keima is having problems is because a small bit of the gamer aspect of Keima got transferred into Yui and a small bit of Yui's old shyness came to Keima. Of course the shyness is much less so keima isn't bothered except when Yui is around because its as though he's dealing with himself. But seriously Yui in female clothes would be really fun.

Spoiler for Comparison to the manga:
Keima is a socially withdrawn person who normally does not interact with people much. So when pursued by an aggressive girl I think it would make sense that he gets thrown off his pace and can't respond the way he wants to. Though Imperial's theory is plausible too. The pacing was ok, I hardly felt any rush at all throughout the episode. Now that seeing how capable the studio is, I guess their decision to skip most of the conquests was correct, at this stage the plot is so thick viewers cannot drop the series midway.

Now this was a great episode. Completely forgot Shiori had that little story of hers. Too cute.
Ah Yui, she is just great to see animated. If only Keima would have accepted the cross dressing lovers route... True love between those 2 in that situation would be wonderful to see unfold.

This episode was really well done. Honestly, I forgot that it was only 24 minutes long and when the ending came around it was a bit of a surprise. As always, Shiori was extra cute in this episode, and Tsukiyo was fun times as well. Ayumi and Yui are forces of nature in their own ways. I had actually forgotten about Fiore. Come to think of it, wasn't she supposed to be here? Though since I had completely forgotten about her, clearly she wasn't of enough relevance to seriously affect the story. As always the comedy here was great. All those little references like the playboy bunny were nice. That kind of stuff isn't as easy to do in manga.

Aside from them grinding through chapters, this season is pretty good. I did kind of liked the Fiore part, since it adds an interesting dynamic to what is currently going on, but if they are limited on amount of episodes in order to push as much content out as possible, I guess it is a reasonable sacrifice.

Conquering five girls simultaneously.... well, that surely a God Mode.
Meanwhile, love the Kashiragi and Simone side story. That was funny and cute. Shiori swaping the role of her and Keima in her story. And both of them creating the continuation of the story was so ridiculously funny. Oh, and Tsukiyo giving Keima band-aid was so HNNNGGG... the Delta Force of Love surely works. Note: Just to remind everyone, there are already Weekly Episode-to-Manga Comparison Thread. Please keep this thread just for discussing the episode. |
