Mr. Ajikko

Mr. Ajikko is an anime about a boy who has a natural sense for cooking and gets caught up in cooking challenges. It is a lot like yakitate with silly puns on names and food. Where it differs is in the main character style. Ajikko is your classic shonen boy hero, cocky, hot blooded, etc...

Release in 1987, 99 episodes, no OVAs, no movies.(as far as I know)

It was a funny episode, nut the message mid way is a bit worrying about the lack of a translator for eps 5+, hope they can get on to do the rest os the series.

It's a dated version of Yakitate, and also reminds me of Cooking Master Boy. Looking forward to the future episodes

This anime is sweet. I used to have a couple of these episodes on tape. So this definitely brought back some good memories. I can't wait to see all the episodes.

Do you understand enough to watch it raw? If you do, then you should try to translate

I hope you get a translator! This show is a lot of fun, it reminds me a lot of Yakitate! Japan (though I guess it should really be the other way around).

Though I've pretty much already guessed the secret ingredient he's going to use, I was really surprised by the chef specializing in Italian's secret ingredient. Going to have to try it out sometime!

ep 3 is out,
http://a.scarywater.net/flf/%5BA-E_%...5D.mkv.torrent
thanks A-E and FLF..

i was just about to finish acquiring the raws for all the series from a friend btw, I'll put them up in TT soon.

would you rather have the entire series in a single pack or multiple packs of 12-24 eps each?

Mr. Ajikko is awesome.

It's a good watch for anyone, imo.

thanks so much to everyone involved in finally fansubbing this series!

my HKs were getting worn out as it was the only way i could watch this show, let alone with crappy HK subs - the dialogue makes much more sense now that its properly translated!

thanks again and looking forward to more episodes!
