Hey everyone, I'm looking for an anime similar to Code Geass. Like, a romantic drama, with a little comedy. Something like that. However, I would like to put drama/suspense over romance, as I would prefer a more dramatic, less romantic, over a more romantic, less dramatic anime.

Macross Frontier is what you are looking for.

You can also do your search in places like AniDB with the "mecha/sci-fi" preference.

I would recommend Mobile Battleship Nadesico. It seems you like anime that has a little bit of everything and Nadesico fits the bill.

Evangelion if you want mind twisting drama.

Oh, and there was virtually no romance in Code Geass...

I second this one. It has great characters, great comedy, and a good story.

There was romance in Code Geass, it actually affected the end of the series, but that is if you were able to recognize it.

Thanks guys, I'll check em out. Just one thing I forgot to mention, it doesn't really matter if the anime has mechas/sci-fi or whatever, I just want something with drama, romance, and comedy. Don't get me wrong, mechas are awesome and all, but the anime doens't have to have it.

Best one I can think of that matches your criteria that I've seen is Tengan Toppa Gurran Lagann.

The romance and drama is definetly there once the series hits a certain point, and like Code Geass it has intense mecha fighting.

Though I will mention that if fanservice is an issue, you won't like it.
