Ep4 was as funny as ever. And omg, Hinagiku is an awesome character. At least for now. I smell a very potent love rival for Nagi Her sister is a total crackshot though

If the series can maintain the level of entertainment they have provided us with up untill now, it is going to be pure win.

It probably is Himegami because of who he appears with
but I don't even think hes shown in the manga yet and the opening doesn't have any new characters after volume 5, so it might be an anime exclusive character.

to me, it looks like the main character in Spiral with braids

Because he appears with Maria and Suzu's grandfather, I'm also inclined to believe that this is Wataru with extra braids The hairstyle certainly fits. Or so I want to say, but Wataru actually appears later on in the OP, and he does not have any braids. So it's a mystery.

Yep, I noticed that too! Hard for most people here to catch cuz it's an old show and not particularly popular in the States.

But for old school manga fan like myself it majorly cracked me up LOL
(And Yes, it was Diamond Dust instead of Aurora Execution)

Also, overdue comment on Ep. 3, as a die hard One Piece fan and someone who's new to this serious, the "Buster Call" reference totally caught me off guard I had to pause and lol for a good 3 min. (OP anime itself has only recently got to this part of the manga, I'm surprised they put it in, definitely not complaining though)

Definitely sticking to this series.

Yay! Sakuya has arrived! She's one of my favorites in this series. Hinagiku is hell attractive, but Sakuya is... interesting to say the least

I immediately recognized Ueda Kana's voice. My goodness, is she the only Kansai-ben seiyu around? Gakuen Alice, Nanoha and now another series where she is a Kansai-ben speaking character (there're probably more, and probably other seiyus' but these are the ones I know).

Very good show, with excellent VAs. In ep4, we get Itou Shizuka and Nabatame Hitomi (who are close friends in real life) as Hina and Yukiji, and Asano Masumi and Yahagi Sayuri as Risa and Izumi. All four of those are favorites of mine. With Ueda Kana in ep5, I'll be in seiyuu heaven, as long as the humor and production keep the quality they've had so far. And Matsuki Miyu and Takahashi Mikako? Excellent.

sheesh more and more girls are adding to hayate's harem XD Sakuya is portrayed to be the annoying childhood friend and somewat self proclaimed rival to nagi ~ i laughed quite a bit when nagi turned shana mode onto her as well XD

but the real jewel in this ep is Isumi ~ ahh im always weak against the silent shy moe type and sure enough Isumi has the characteristics of one :3 hayate got into some deep shi~ "saving" her as well...but in the end im sure it will worth it ~ as they say good deeds will be rewarded with the wrath of hell (hayate telling the narrator to shut up was another highlight)

and i think the series is actually loosing a lot of comedy impact...though at times i do chuckle a bit at others i just dont find funny...prime example is the overusage of the censor board...and we nearly got to see Sakuya's pantsu >.<

We're going to hit a little bit of a dry spell now in the next 2-3 eps. Many new characters incoming which add relatively little to the show. Bluntly put, manga volumes 2+3 are the weakest, IMHO.

But don't lose faith. It will still be enjoyable (albeit mostly lightweight), and once the story picks up again with the main characters, we'll be back on track
