And to be fair the way the PS3 handles downloads is clunky at best when side by side with a 360

You know it's pretty fun to check out other player's uploads including stuff you don't have yet. Does anybody know how to upload your own replays? I always want to try it out. @papermario, if you ever want to add me on your PSN friends list, my PSN tag is omarchafa. I can always help you with any game problems. That goes to anybody else in this thread. Just let me know who you are though. |

I'll add y'all, but I'm wondering if I should do so through my English or Japanese account.
Either way, I got the A Cappella ending. I made three girls cry and I feel like a PIECE OF SHI- I think I did alright, topping the charts once. Next time I'll have some proper equipment to win.

Bad end is best end. Seriously, some annoying person shows up in the other endings and ruins the mood.
Great, now I'm tempted to play through again and tank on purpose. Wait, what? Hitting #1 is generally a good thing. I guess you topped the charts too late for it to matter... but that's pretty late in the game. Maybe I'm misreading. |

By the way, I suppose we don't know anything about the 2nd part of the DLC sale yet, do we?

I strongly recommend that you print out these:
http://imas.wikia.com/wiki/Japanese_Geography_Quiz http://imas.wikia.com/wiki/Reporters_(Idolm@ster_2) http://imas.wikia.com/wiki/Songs_(Idolm@ster_2) Although you gonna have to winged it for the DLC songs. It use those frequently whenever I play, cause going to the computer for every little detail is no fun at all. I would print out most of the stuff from this site as well: https://sites.google.com/site/imas2strategy/home Like the promotions and communications for each character. You want to have all of these at your disposal for immediate access. Well that's how I play this game anyway by having everything I need in paper. |

Thanks for the links, but I've actually got down most of it already. The only thing I'd really need is the geographic layout of the different areas; other stuff like conversation, songs and reporters I've basically memorized. They all follow some kind of simple pattern, and there's honestly not that many of each.
Just reporting that I foolishly played my last playthrough without switching off my Japan account which I never actually use for games as opposed to purchases, so I'm starting anew...but with a fountain of experience and knowledge! My unit this time is Bluebird, featuring Chihaya as leader and Mami & Makoto as members. Currently on Week 14, Unit Level 7, Level 2 Appeal, a well rounded Danketsu and a 47th spot with my first song, Kami Summer!!. I've already got Sugamo's Amulet and am currently demolishing enemies in festivals, so my next song MEGARE! may see even higher results. I may have to take off that amulet for auditions and live shows though. I'll probably get around to attempting a light-hearted runthrough of parts, since I personally can't stand full Let's Plays and prefer something that has the most noteworthy moments edited together for efficiency. But more on that later, I guess.

As for this playthrough, I've got about 145,000 yen so far. I've been focusing more on promotions and lessons.

1st and 2nd playthrough usually broke your heart though, as it will often get you a bad end...
Try to accumulate the 3 rare amulet suggested by that page (the one that decrease rate reduction), and then off you go... Asia region also can access Im@s DLC but not directly from game. |

Base on the previews, I can't decide which one I like better, edeN or Vault That Borderline. The other one was just meh (expected it to be lolish).
Also AmiAmi has all 3 games in one package: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...-2969&page=top Apparently their exclusive will give you access to a clear save for all three games which is stupid since that just ruins the fun. At least you get a bag for it. |

So as my second (technically first on a new account) playthrough comes to an end, I got a D rank (thanks to the hell training I forced to get the trophy), but also managed to get into the #7 song ranking and win the A-1 award itself, resulting in a Good End. Chihaya is just so cute.
Gonna play through it again soon, maybe I'll actually remember to record it this time.
