However, yes, I can see that it is possible they met offscreen after the event. Quote:

Dear Animesuki,
I previously said I wouldn't come participate in this sub-forum but I have to get this out. I got trolled and to that I say, well played. A while back I caused a stink regarding the first bunch of episodes and how poor the story was presented, especially regarding showing the gravity of the situation of certain elements (ie. solo player, 'beater'). My beef was that I was expecting a natural progression in story from these episodes: How they anime presented the show: Event A -> Event C Me: Huh? Where's Event B? If you're showing the show in linear fashion, I'm expecting to see Event B. How the novel presents itself (from what I hear from the posters in this sub-forum): Event C |-> Sidestory Event A (ie. Flashback) Readers: Ok, good side story. Readers aren't asking for Event B because they already know Event A was a side story, hence know there's no expectation for more progress on Event A (ie. an Event B). Some novel readers told me to pay extra attention because they were important main plots and the show was trying to integrate side stories into the main story. Trying. Despite learning they were side stories, the critical element I missed was this: side stories are side stories. I was still stupid enough to give it enough weight to argue they should have shown us things like Kirito struggling on his solo adventures, how people should have been on his arse for being a 'beater'. I was so focused on these parts and complaining why they weren't following it up properly, and posters just dismissed it all as 'you missed the subtly in episode X, pay more attention'. We're 4 (or 5?) episodes into the main story and Kirito's already getting married. This perfectly explains why the gravity of being solo & the beater elements weren't at all heavy and why we didn't get to see some struggle with these aspects. Side stories are side stories, and I got trolled. |

They sure are marching through the story fast. I don't know how I feel about that TBH.
This game is pretty old-school if you can even attack people in the same guild as you. There aren't many MMOs out there these days where guildmates can be attacked. And yeah yeah, 2 years of you know what, how does kissing and sex work in the virtual world, etc. etc., glop glop, so on and so forth. I would ask if it were possible to get virtually pregnant in SAO but it's been 2 years and presumably plenty of other people have already tested it and there aren't any virtual infants. I guess that's one advantage SAO has over the real world, you can glop all you want without any protection and you are 100% guaranteed not to get pregnant! |

I didn't originally want to touch this topic, but... curiousity got to me.
Would sex crimes exist with this feature? I'm guessing no, since it probably requires both party members to accept before proceeding. However, as proven by Kirito on Asuna in episode 8, boob touching sexual harrassment is still possible. I guess since this story is PG-13, these topics are probably left ignored in the novels.

But at the speed they're moving I'd imagine Kirito was frozen for a fraction of a second. If he was hanging up there for 'a few seconds' the crowd probably would have noticed something amiss. Since we lost all the noise and most of the BGM during that scene, I'm assuming we're dealing with compressed time. |

There were so many other points to your post to nitpick, but this one bothers me the most. WHY? |

He's the Expert-Gamer-Solo-Player Kirito. He should know everything about the game. Even if not battle related, plus - Real men smack that hard when they get the opportunity, or they're gay. ( Also when 16 years old, in a death game, he'll surely think about sex, instead of thinking about what could he do better to become stronger, etc ) /sarcasm
