And no, I'm not into having serious waifus.
And the good thing is that you can have a many of them as you like!

It's mostly the same for me, I can only fantasize about either.

On the other hand, I'm fine with being alone so I don't feel compelled to go out there and do something about it.

11D girls FTW.

Thanks everyone for your wonderful views.

I personally would like a 3D girl to be like a 2D girl, in terms of looks and character. That would be the best combination.

Also, 2D girls make us 3D guys understand 3D girls better? As in, what to say, what not to say to 3D girls?

Mmm, I don't think so... take an anime-drawn girl, and what do you have? It looks great in the two-dimensional, drawn medium, but in reality? The huge eyes would look alien, the huge hair that flows so nicely when drawn would probably become knotted and frizzled all too easily, making the person look unkempt (and let's not even get into the hair colors). What else... the mannerisms? Cute in the show, but most of the eccentric mannerisms would likely have you annoyed or wondering if the girl needed psychiatric help.

The reason I keep posting this is because I think people are on the path to making themselves miserable with this type of thinking. Before I started dating, I also had the idea that the ideal girl would be anime-like. The "real women" I've encountered have not been anime-like, but you discover that they don't have to be. There are ideals in reality that differ from what exists in an anime series. Furthermore, having later encountered girls who had some of the eccentric anime behavior (and having been acclimated to real girls), I can say that I did not find it appealing. Those quirks that you enjoy seeing in a show? When they don't end after a 20-minute episode, that goes from endearing to grating.

(The "quiet, shy girl" character type is probably one of the few that translates fine to reality... but even then, don't go around expecting it. Even if a girl is quiet and shy, she'll likely open up to you as she gets to know you better. This is in contrast to anime characters, who are generally pretty one-dimensional in terms of character complexity.)

If you're 100% clueless, it's a place to start. Otherwise, no. The best rule to follow with these interactions is to treat others as you would want to be treated. Girls want to feel appreciated (which isn't necessarily so different from guys), so show respect and express compliments freely (but don't seem like a brown-noser by going over the top). Listen when they speak, care about what they're saying. Society generally has higher expectations on a woman's appearance and they may be insecure about it (but again, this isn't necessarily so different from guys) - just be aware of that. And above all, be confident! Both women and men are more drawn to people who seem confident and comfortable with themselves.

Oh gosh as a single woman this thread this thread

Come on guys we may not be perfect but there are plenty of great real women out there looking for a significant other. I have to say that I am disheartened that not only is my competition other women but now I have to compete with 2D girls too.

Girls I've been with are all close to a 2D stereotype and that hasn't bothered me.

However my friends are a different story. They always ask "when will you stop going out with weirdos?"

Hell some of them have indeed been under psychiatric help

Hmm @Halad what type do you like better Shota? or Arrogant/Serious Bishounen? or Prince type of bishounen? lols

@Hooves, you are younger xD Would you get mad Hooves if I called you Shota?

Simple. Ask the mods for a topic change about 2D boys and girls. Though I find that a number of 3D otaku girls I have met tend to be interested at the sight of two 2D bishies falling in love with each other rather than herself falling in love with one of them.

That's so wrong. Dirty little fujoshis.

I propose that the topic be changed to suit both the male and female demographic on this forum : Fictional Love Interests are better than Real Life Ones.
Yea thats sound good to change~

lols it maybe be wrong but sometimes thats the only choice..xDD Haha I am a Fujoshi >_< more offtopic but like in D.Gray-man where it seems like Lenalee can be paired up with Allen, Lavi, or Kanda.. so why not just pair the guys up and call it a day? xD Lenalee can go with her brother..and no not incest xDD he wont approve of any of them anyway.

theres one thing that you can do to 3D and 2D guys..you can freak both of them out if you pair them up with a guy kufufufu...

I forgot to add the disclaimer that everyone has different tastes, and as you have shown, some people truly do like that. However, I stand by my point that what we find appealing in the realm of fantasy does not always translate over to reality. It seems strange, and I think that many don't realize it.

Just haz some money ready and you'll be able to bang a 3d girl. Can't guarantee that she'll be good looking though (and also be "viral" free)

Very unfortunately, kemonomimis aren't real, so anime girls will always be better than real women.

He probably means the ones that move on their own and are one or two evolutionary steps away from having free will
