I have been told that the manga ending to the Shaman King anime was different than the manga ending. Can anyone tell me the manga ending? The anime ending really stunk as far as I was concerned. It seemed like a cliff hanger in the end with Yoh's beeping oracle bell.

Shaman King is licensed and so is the manga. This is a sub-forum to discuss anime fansubs and not licensed/manga anime.

hm..I'm not sure whether this belongs in the dvd/licensed sub-forum or manga so I'm sticking it in the General Anime sub-forum.

what? the shaman kinga manga is still going? i only watched the anime and i thought that the anime ended it all.

Weekly Jump issue 9 which came out this week has chapter 256 of Shaman King in it.

Yeah as you can expect the anime took a way different turn from the manga. It's common, you can see the same thing with GetBackers FullMetal alchemst and so on.

The Anime jumped ahead of the Manga while the Manga took its time with details and lots of side stories. So the Anime kinda contains all of the Manga already if you ignore all the details (and that's a lot of details).

wow, that's pretty vague ._. yea I've read Shaman King, up to volume 25 or something like that =_= but I haven't been reading it lately 'cause it's turning into one big mess and I'm starting to not enjoy it as much as before I guess =\ btw, my favorite characters are Jun and Lyserg =^_^=

u like jun n lyserg? they r okay, i guess. but i think anna's the coolest girl out there. 4 boys, i like Yoh. he's cool. but i don't think that it's turning into a big mess. it's good as ever. i'm waiting 4 volume 30 now. it should b out anyday now. i haven't watch the show but i heard that Yoh's twin dies in the end. but i like that guy. he's very.........how do u say it, very cool, handsome, yet evil at the same time.

I have bought all the 3 manga volumes Viz has published... Does anyone know when they're gonna publish vol. 4?

Anyway, the greatest thing in Shaman King is the... shaman idea. But I hate that stupid "loser-gangsta" Ryu and Manta (Mortimer in the anime) whose only mission is shout stupidly/look stupid when the shamans fight. Anna is funny character, Yoh and that-samurai-ghost-whose-name-I-forgot are ok.

i'hav read tilll episod 31....my...my the manga crawls like a really tortoise...the manga started off bout flame of recca's time...yet it haven't end yet....

anna...it'z yoh's luck to have her as a wife-to-be...

Well,i read finished the whole series and i can only say WTF :fingers:.Because,it ended when it is most exciting.

.even though i heard that there might be a series two but i personally think that it has ended.If anyone know there is a second series,pls tell me.

and yes.....the ending really pisses me off......
i bought the manga up to vol. 30......
and i saw the ending in one of the weekly magazine.....
it really is a waste of money......

Shaman King is a plot quagmire, I don't understand how it survived on Jump long enough to develop its own line of merchandises.
