DLC overload makes you wanna......

Seriously though not DLC's anything that is not story relevant. Screw the costumes and stages.

Won't that make the world at risk thing, the premise of the story, sort of irrelevant to the plot itself?

I could be wrong here, but that's worrying...

I know the feeling, but then again there's always a need for a flair for the dramatic regarding Capcom and what I'm hearing about this game in general. The stages DLC...that's really worrying.

For me DLC is now a girl. It's just makeup you bought for her to make her look beautiful.

But here Capcom's DLC wants to make use do even plastic surgery for our money. Just damn...

Quite the opposite, it means the problem is so vast that it span across more than one place and the good guys are spread thinly apart.

This also adds to the uniqueness that gives all three campaigns a different feel.

With the way that Capcom has been handling this game as of lately, it makes the whole game premise about the good guy battling evil across the globe more commercialized just to make it look cool and edgy. That sort of kills the story, at least to me.

I see your point, and like I said the stages (I'm interested in Jake's story btw) will be a blast to play, but it's just that it seems more like story itself is commercialized than what we're used to in past RE games.

For people who complained about DLCs, I advise you to get the Complete Edition at half the price 6 months down the road when nobody cares about the game anymore.

Well people are beginning to not care about this game anymore, so it'll be no surprise if people expect another version of this game to hook the consumer.

On the technical side :-

http://ps360.ldblog.jp/archives/53694077.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpsNp..._embedded&hd=1
LEON Avg:28.792fps Min-Max:23.5-30.5fps Tear:46.205%(45.677%)
CHRIS Avg:29.147fps Min-Max:25.0-30.5fps Tear:46.483%(45.933%)
SHERRY Avg:29.545fps Min-Max:22.0-30.5fps Tear:47.285%(46.806%)

Capcom didn't even put effort into polishing the demo here with framerate going at 30 FPS and nearly 50% screen tearing on the 360 here.

Ouch...
No wonder it felt slower than RE5.
Dunno about Capcom, but one thing I know is that their lazy in putting that extra effort to make the game better when the gameplay is done.

They are luring ignorant people in with the Bio/RE branding. So bite or no bite ?

100% sure alot will bite like in RE:ORC slash branded with an RE name with RE characters in it.

Heck I even know some people who like shooters that still buy RE:ORC for the sake that it's a shooter game. What's up with guns now adays... =/

I dunno about the final product, but if the gameplay is similar to the demo and they didn't tweaked or adjust any gameplay mechanics then it goes to show Crapcoms laziness yet again.

That's worrying since, after reading the articles and watching the gameplay footage. It should at least be a fast pace game in certain instances. For Chris it's understandable, to an extent, since his arc plays like the previous iteration, while Jake and Leon are most on your toes so to speak.

I'm stating to really question how they're managing the improvement of the gameplay, but since it's Capcom we're dealing so we can't expect much.

Couldn't care less about Capcom's management, because ever since the late 90's and 2000+ people are leaving Capcom.

If this tons of loads of DLC is true I might rather wait a year later for the Gold/GOTY or whatever edition they'll come up which is cheaper and have all the characters and the dlc are all unlocked.

Looks like RE6 will have 4 hours of cutscenes in the game itself...can't tell if that's worrying, or good...!

Ohhh boy here we go METAL GEAR SOLID 4 long cutscenes again.

It works for the MGS4 game, dunno about RE games.

Those 4 hours are split between 3 campaigns... 4, if they include Ada's.

I just hope they don't makes them into long MGS cutscenes. Love MGS, but for long cutscenes in an RE game...that's pretty illogical unless they do it right.

...Still, I'm a bit worried...

RE5 had about an hour of cutscenes, if you're okay with that, then I don't think this would be any problem.

I'm not worried about the length really. I'm just concerned about how they'll make the 4 hours worth of cutscenes enjoyable without so much as talking away much of the gameplay from the game itself.
