Good news indeed, Working! was my second favourite comedy of 2010. For the recording, in the April Fools clip the characters are voiced by Nakamura Yuuichi and Tomatsu Haruka (Miyakoshi-san).
This is the fake announcement appeared on the official site: before it was replaced by the real thing:

Yes... I'm excited. There's so much fun from the ongoing manga that can be used... Now if I could just hear that Seitokai Yakuindomo is getting another season... it would be splendiferous. From the PV and the art... looks like Working! is getting a quality upgrade.

It really doesn't mean anything. The first season's director also did Solty Rei and Kaleido Star 2, and Working!! was nothing like either of those.
We really need to see who's doing the screenplay and scriptwriting before we can make any sorts of judgment on the possible lack of quality. |

Even the best director can make a good concept fail and make the final result horrible. I'm pretty sure the reverse also happens.
Either way, this is the best news I've heard all day.

One of the best anime of 2010 finally gets a sequel!! So hyped up for this.

Well, shit. He directed Motto To love-ru too. It's weird that a man so accustomed to directing ecchi/fanservice shows was chosen to direct the sequel to an anime that was entirely devoid of it. I'm still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but my expectations have already been significantly lowered.

If he was just being faithful to the source material, then isn't he a good director? Like I said, direction isn't everything and I doubt the production committee would let him make anything other than what made the first season sell so well. |

What had gotten me interested in the first season was the the director had done Sketchbook full color's (which I still peffer over working) and I do feel there was a bit of his style in the anime,so having him gone is a bit of a disapointment but I'll give the new guys the benefit of the doubt for now.
