Spoiler for Pretty good episode:

We get a lot to move the story forward in this episode. I found the physical fight and Taiga's subsequent fall a little ridiculous, but just slightly. (How can they not hold those two back, and how can an entire class not notice someone fall, or at least notice that track in the preliminary search of the area) Next episode should be interesting to see how things have changed between certain characters’ relationship. Minori may even start dropping her energetic exterior more often as a result of this.

Yeah, after watching it again, I thought that everything revolving around the last fight, except for Ami and Minori themselves, was weak.

... That is like a lightning spear coming down crashing into my chest, teleported not charged, and you know how massive of a spoiler that is for me. But thanks though, that'll make me want to anticipate Volume 8's translations even better.

And I hear there's RED vs BLU in this episode... I guess you guys know what I mean.

Exactly my point, it's not very light. I don't often get irritated but that was something big.

Not everyone can understand Japanese, for one. I don't really mind these things, but it does miff quite a few people.

I was told by a mod it's considered customary to spoiler tag episode discussion until subs are available. I don't care personally, I always read spoiler tagged posts here anyway.

Well I see members on these boards fighting over this all the time. My impression from all of it was that until subs came out spoiler tags were necessary. I don't know which side is right, but I figure going with spoilers is the safe way.

The gist of their fight would be that Ami was getting extremely fed up with how Minori never lets on what she's really thinking or feeling by hiding behind a sort of mask. She was also fueled by a bit of guilt though. She thinks that she might have been partly responsible for Minori rejecting Ryuji with the thing she said back during that episode where Taiga and Sumire fight. And then the crashing into them with the sled escalated everything. Ami thought Minori did it on purpose.

Oh ok. I just didn't get why it's considered a spoiler if people chose to watch the episode, but I can understand if it's a general rule to use spoiler tags.

To my understanding though:

I believe, generally speaking, that Ami began to verbally attack Minori over the same basic issues she brought up with Ryuuji, about how they are all playing house and not being straight forward to one another about their feelings? Correct me if I'm wrong.

For the most part Janifuu, although the playing house part didn't play any role really. Maya and Kashii(?) asked Minori whether Taiga liked Ryuji or Yusaku, but she said she didn't know, and that they should ask her directly. They mentioned that Minori was being pretty quiet lately and she lied about being just tired from skiing. Truth probably being that she doesn't like this conversation. Her head jerks a little at Maya's comment that Ryuji should just go ahead and get with Taiga. Now all of this, really pisses off Ami because, as we know, she knows Minori likes Ryuji. The way that Minori's playing everything off and pretending that she's out of the loop with the whole Ryuji and Taiga thing, pisses her off. So after Minori reacts to Maya's comment, Ami takes the opportunity to start their fight, and brings up what happened at the Christmas party.

well...my two cents on what l would like to see happen but at this point is a lost cause..
1. taiga needs to be put to sleep...
2. minori shipped off somewhere
3. amixryuji happens
4. happy ending.

I was thinking when Ami and Minorin gonna fight for the scraps of their hope of Ryuji, guess this is it. Taiga can be quite impulsive and the hair pin incident just show it. Quite a good episode despite the absence of pseudo confession from Ami. I suspect it may come out later, knowing their pattern of story writing.

According to mods, it is alright since the episode is already out, subbed or not. If you haven't watch the subbed then don't come in. Simple.

Can't really see how an arbitrary leftfield ending that hasnt developed for crap would be happy at all.
