is that easy to do. Do you just like a select tool in paintshop and color different areas?

For the most part is is guite easy. The shading is the difficult part. But mostly it requires alittle pratice. The magic wand selection tool usually does wonders on manga images.

Magic Wand should be avoided when CG:ing IMO. Well, if you have very clean manga scans it might work, but you often get unwanted "debrease" between the outline and the color itself.
I personally use the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop, and the same tool or eventually the pencil tool sometimes for the shadowing.
I'm still a noob though, so don't listen too much to me ^_^

I'm pretty good at coloring manga. The basics really are to have a picture of the person ur drawing and use the pipette to copy colors onto the drawing. Use the majic wand to select some areas and colour away.

Here are some of mine.

Use can do somthing like this by just using the magic wand.

But u need to know other techniques to do something like this,

This shikamaru pic was SO HARD, it was so sketchy, heres the original, just to show you how hard it was.

I'm still a noob though.

I'll post some tutorations asap.

Wow, using photoshop to do that. SO much patience is involved I think.
You have to provide the tutorials for this, I can only draw on paper. I really dunno how to achieve effects and shading and all that. *impressed*

I found a couple excellent pictures of young Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya, the legendary Sannin. I assure you, they are quite surprising.

Spoiler:

Hm, Kishi isn't quite so original after all. It's clear he played the Neo-Geo extensively as a small child.

Edit: If they don't show up for you, then:

Just right click/properties/copy URL/paste into webbrowser/When downloaded, go back to this page and vola! They are working!

But it's true, pictures from hosts without direct-linking allowed should just be put up as links.

I really like the art-work, but I don't see why those specific characters were chosen... I'd be happyer with lee and sasuke instead of Kiba and Chouji... that'd be the perfect team if you ask me.. but, I really admire the art-work, that's for sure

I'll get all the images I can find and make a page on my (wonderful Angelfire) site with links to the pictures. I'll host my favorites (with appropriate reference), along with wallpapers. I'm at school at I'll be home in like 4 hours, so then I'll put it all together. PM me if you want a certain wall/ picture/ etc, up on the site. I've only got 20 megs of space, so there will only be like 40 or so pictures.

The artwork ought to be great. Kishimoto has drawn it. It is a manga cover that I am coloring. I am pleased that you like it.
