and here i thought the anime intro fight scenes were all lies...

a perfect display of failing to finish the antagonist off when you literally have them against the wall - thought i did kinda feel for fake isane. nobody deserved that.

Kurotsuchi totally him corner. I was actually starting to think we'd have an arc where Ichigo doesn't kill the bad guy.

Of course every goes to hell again.

And yay, shinigami cup is back.

That would be too nasty, but seeing how things are turning out it's the only possible outcome.

Nakama team kills//helps to kill reigai and Ichigo kills Inaba, while Nozomi and her brother/whatever disappear.

^ agreed unohana swallowed all the taicho up before the explosion,
this arc is bringing back all the good plot points from original flavour bleach that made it whiten our clothes... i mean so fun to watch in the first place

sooo unohana's shikai will prob deffff make a reappearance

i like the mod soul idea alot, kinda looks like shit was foreshadowed, its like a legit mangaka is writing these scripts

At this point I'm completely in love with this arc. It's not perfect by any means, there's loads of things that actually bothers me about it.

-How everyone seems pacified by the plot at times, why couldn't they just chop Kageroza's head off when he was about to eat the pill? It took him ages.

-How the regai suddenly "revealed their true power". I don't think a sudden "power boost" is a good way to change the plot. While it did explain why Kageroza was so darn sure of himself, I've never been a fan of things like that.

-How this entire "regai" thing just seems flat out overpowered. Being able to make as many copies as you like that's better than the originals? Holy shitt, that's just absurd, it should come at a very high cost (though that may be revealed in later episodes).

Despite all these flaws however, the amazing fighting scenes as well as the general "feel" of the entire arc just makes up for it, and makes me enjoy Bleach more then I have in ages.

Seeing this arc be so well received by vocally active majority here makes me happy.

Well, this arc is actually FUN TO WATCH... despite any flaws is like your action movie with no aspirations to be an Oscar winner but to sell tickets: action packed, with some "dramatic moments/revelations", standard tropes, etc.

1. Mayuri is interested in the technology too. Kageroza did mentioned in some part that even Mayuri is unable to create a host that can store/use so much reiastu and not degenerate.

2. They had a bracelet to curb their power. I suppose by using that, the lifespan of the host (the body used) is shortened.

3. Probably. And this links to point 1. Mayuri wants a piece of that technology. To add on to point 2, it is strange that Kageroza would want to put a bracelet to curb their power too. So I guess there must be some drawbacks.

well given cardinal anime rules, i'd say it was to lengthen the lifespans
ie: not to burn up a 'possible' non-renewable lifespan/power

Lame, Kageroza was the butthurt scientist whose research was cancelled. Would've preferred if Soul Society betrayed him or tossed him in the Dangai world without trial or something.
Also, I call BS on a bankai thrust from OP Iceboy knocking Zaraki into a wall.

Best part of the ep was juiced up Unohana's "I be possessed" glare.
