I don't think it's about pride, but love being selfish. If she doesn't want to share her partner, then she'll either not want to be part of the harem or she simply decide not pursue Rito any more. Saruyama and the Principal are not the only men in the world. Of course, she could be swayed into accepting the idea of a harem, but if by the end she still doesn't feel like sharing her partner, then I guess she wouldn't take part on it.

On the other hand, if Momo can manage to bring even Yami over to a polygamous harem willingly, then there's a chance for Yui too. Time will tell with that.

It's not just Yui, all the earthlings are going to be very hard to convert to polygamy. It's not that much of a problem for Rito, since it'll be his harem (who wouldn't want a harem?). However, being a harem member is not quite as fun as being its leader. Would you like your girlfriend to have her own harem full of beefcakes? I wouldn't. Even so, I have faith in Momo. She will be able to convert them, slowly, but surely. We all know she can be VERY convincing. If needs arise, I'm sure she'd have no problem (and in fact, would LOVE) employing the same tactics as with Rito, which would mean lezzing out with the girls... *drools*

And it's Momo's job to keep that from happening. Momo wants every girl who fell in love with Rito to be happy. As far as chapter goes, Yui developed a lot in her character. I actually didn't expect that she will do that with matching that line where she puts Rito into a reponsibility. Let's just wait how will she respond when she knows about the Harem plan.

Not really. Momo just strikes me as the type of girl ready to try anything. I don't think it's that far-fetched considering how aroused she gets everytime she witnesses one of the girls in an ecchi situation, like in this very chapter or the time where Peke-Rito molested Lala (she was on the verge of climaxing in the anime). It was when Rito was in Peke's body, in chapter 153. The scene was exactly the same in the anime, but her arousal was more apparent, thanks to Toyosaki (her seiyuu) panting really hard. It was in episode 9 of Motto To Love-ru. You might want to check it out.

Y;know, even though I doubt this will ever happen in this kind of manga, Momo fails to realize that in a harem, there are a couple of reasons why they generally don't happen:

1) One guy has to please a minimal of three girls...and this harem has a lot more than three girls in it. Rito... well, let's just say Momo probably doesn't realize he might not exactly be up to that potential... yet

2) Beware the ugly factor called jealousy. If this were a darker manga (despite the Darkness title)... somehow, I could almost see Yui pulling a School Days ending

that being said... I'd personally rather just see it with Rito having a RitoxLalaxYui ending, personally. Despite her not getting much attention, Lala is my second girl (Yui being numero Uno, of course... especially after this chapter)

I'm pretty sure that, of the characters who are honest with their feelings, Lala and Momo are okay with a harem. Haruna already showed signs/approved of sharing Rito with Lala if I remember correctly. Other than that, isn't there only Run left?

This is the manga where a harem ending is more likely to happen than not. The mangaka/author don't seem to want to take the manga towards a more serious direction in regards to jealously and such.

and now having actually read 4, I have but one final comment... I really hope that the guest is Train/Kuro Neko. For some reason, I think this manga could use a serious antagonist for a few chapters... and I'm sorry, but despite the plotting, Mea doesn't quite qualify as a "serious antagonist"

God, please no. Not wanting to alienate any of the fanbase with these sort of quick fix-it solutions just cheapens the overall value of bishoujo series. Already, Darkness is at least a bit unique in that it's actually taking the concept of creating and maintaining a harem seriously, so I would rather not have it degrade into a series that's just there to cater to the fans.

Honestly, I would still peg Lala as only being halfway there. Sure, she's already stated that she doesn't mind sharing Rito's love with the other girls. But much like what TLR chap. 80/Motto Epis. 6 showed, I seriously doubt that she's even considered the physical/intimate aspect of what a harem, or even a normal boyfriend/girlfriend relationship for that matter, truly entails.
