Also. In 7, the white haired guy.... that can be no one else but Root. Seriously, that expression says it all. And Makoto's reaction... Definitely Root. XD |

Hell he didn't even choke them. He just broke the neck, samshed the head or fired through the chest. Never attack Makoto when he is in coldheart mode. I mean at first he wanted to cpature them alive to get information but then changed his mode because he noticed the charm power and judged them to be merely puppets instead of living beings.

Wow I haven't been in this thread for awhile. I mixed up the name for the little princess being Komoe when it was actually Iroha, oh well.
There's actually an extra chapter from the POV of the three charmed girls prior to their attack on Makoto from chapter 246. Makoto can remove the charmed state, however, if the target has been in the charmed state for too long then their psyche is heavily effected even without the charm effects. So think of it like a heavy narcotic drug or substance abuser that even if the addiction is gone, the side effects still remain with their long lasting damage. Also, I see the transition of Makoto's nonchalance towards death as a sign of his eventual ascension to a god of destruction. The mindset of one looking down on the world from above, Tomoe mentioned this too but she does not know the exact distance that Makoto is looking down from. The outer shell that Chiya saw could refer to Makoto suppressing his original personality or self from a young age. He did have low self-esteem from a number of reasons (beautiful family of swans and ugly duckling), hence as Makoto gains more self confidence his old outer shell cracks is one interpretation. P.S. I have been playing Devil Survivor Overclocked and Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker ever since. I finished Yuzu and Amane routes, doing Naoya route now. I find Midori really annoying in that game...

Really? I thought he switched to 'kill-mode' when he tried to debuff the girls but noticed the thick charm magic which resided inside them. The thing which has defintely changed is his handling of the aftermath: he doens't inform his 'hosts' that those are girls from the empire and he decides to pursue the matter in secret by setting Tomoe on the case. A far cry from the Makoto who got yelled at by the guild master.

'Raidou is aiming for the labyrinth.
And as if welcoming him, a blood-stench strife had both arms wide open. The moment Lorel learns of Kuzunoha Company…was close to coming' You could also say: don't invite a bull into a china shop And is it jsut me or is there anyone else who thought that Tomoe should have bought the bunny suit instead of the black suit?

Couldn't be more true. xD I mean a sexy casino dealers outfit= a Judges outfit. I wonder what the bunny uniform stands for. The previous wise really were perverts.
