Well, it's that time of the week again. I believe we're now halfway through the series and this is usually where they put the filler content in typical harem shows. I recently asked myself why I watch anime. The answer was quite simple: to be entertained. Even so, I have found myself finishing an entire series only to conclude that I wasted time that I will never be able to recover. When I watched the first episode of this series, I had my hopes raised quite high only to be disappointed by the following 3 episodes. Episode 5 finally redeemed the show when I was beginning to consider dropping it and I was hoping it would maintain the momentum it gained this week in episode 6. This is what I thought:

Spoiler for Episode 6:

Jun: Nothing's changed. As I expected no character development. Same old siscon. Moving on.

Yuuhi: It seems that Yuuhi has acknowledged Minato as a real threat to her relationship with Jun. It was fun to see her fight back but the problem is quite deeply rooted. She's going to have a hard time winning over Jun completely and I wish her all the best.

Minato: The perfect girl as always was this episode a little eccentric to me confirming her rather exotic childhood. Communicating with bears? Only in filler episodes. It was interesting to see her tease her brother but that was it really. I don't give a damn about naked anime babes so I hope they don't rely too much on it.

Emiri: I had to look up her name even after watching the episode. That's just how bad an impression she gave me in episode 4. I had written her off then but I think she was much better in this episode. Still it's hard to take her seriously so I wish they would've spent more time on other characters and let her rest in peace.

Others: All I can say is I hope we get to see a little more from them not just teasing Jun.

This will be the last harem anime based on an eroge that I will watch for some time as I am now quite certain that the industry is running out of ideas. Heck character stereotypes have been pouring out into mainstream anime recently. Tsundere characters are everywhere and otakus are increasingly getting cast as protagonists. The only thing that puts me off is when the lead males show no sign of development and an otherwise good story is reduced to a series of service shots (I thought that's what hentai was for). This was made from an eroge where getting as many nudey scenes with as many girls as possible was the goal.

Played the game, and it was nothing outstanding (not to say it was bad) story wise. It was your standard off the shelf H-game.

I couldn't agree with you more. Well, at least they didn't use "horse" or "plushies" as a cover or substitue. But the white fog is just... thick as a brick, there isn't even a reason for Yuuhi to cover both guys eyes. That scene was even more irritating, why is Louise in this episode?

i find it still pretty nice. I don't expect much anyways so prolly why i enjoyed this episode with Jin's siscon and Minato's brocon tease. Every scene where they tease each other is my only joy every time things go bad or wrong throughout an episode. And this episode, Minato teased him well enough for me to reconsider.

..other than that, the last part was the only good thing in this episode.

the rest were boring and just dragged the whole episode of the week.

I am too reconsidering my thoughts about nothing coming out of it. I had not given them a chance even if they are not related due to the "Engagement", but there is a chance that it doesn't happen now.

Sigh... I don't want to sound like everyone else but I'm pretty bitter about this episode too... maybe because it's a filler episode that occur too soon in the series for my taste. The only thing I'm looking forward to now is: Minato.

Well, there is the fact that they made perfectly clear from before the series even began airing that this series would be "9 parts comedy, 1 part romance."

It's hit or miss, but similar to episode 3-4, this week just didn't make it.

I mean, that by itself is incredible... To turn a hot spring episode dull...

come on guys, you should know that in this type of anime one of the rules is that you have to have either a POOL, BEACH, Or ONSEN episode. It is a must in this type of anime. they got the episode out of the way, so now things should get more to the relationship between Jun, Minato and Yuuhi

This whole series just seem like a big filler piece of s##t. I'm already losing interest in it. Wouldn't surprised me if it really was just an anime full of fillers with a random ending.

I guess that's true... so far it's been a miss with me but I'm still enduring for the good Minato/Jun stuff.

I know that type of anime episode have to happen at one point but a lot of animes use it for character development/relationship growth. This one didn't as much or any at all.

I guess maybe I'm just bitter?
