New character bios from the Website! So we learn that Kai, the Kaiohshin from Universe 11, has a strong sense of Justice and Compassion, and yeah, the guys in the red and black uniforms are a freaking superhero team called the "Pride Troopers".

Oh, and universe 2 GoD Egyptian Lady is apparently named Jerez (which is Spanish for Sherry, the drink).

So I think that the tournament might be setting up Universe 7 as the "villains" everyone else has to defeat.

... And they're probably all alcohol-related, but the Romanization issue strikes again. I for the life of me can't think of a drink called Moscow (the Robot God of Destruction), for example.

Also, it's interesting to see the contrast between the Toriyama-designed Gods, and the Toyotaro-designed ones.

Great episode this week, very entertaining fight between Buu and Basil. I have to admit, that Basil guy seemed strong at first. Of course, he got wrecked later by Buu when he was angry. I'm guessing since he's the youngest of this group, Basil is the weakest. Lavender is probably stronger.

One noticeable thing during the fight is when Basil's attack got deflected by Buu to one of the other fighters yet was easily countered. I forget his name but might want to keep an eye on that guy.

Universe7 being the bad guys of this arc is great idea, now Goku's friends are treated like scum because of his selfishness and going to give him a huge piece of their minds.

Makes sense to be sure. Because a random guy from U7 beyond trillions of lives are going to be lost. I'd be pissed at everyone in U7 too. It's arguable that they had a responsibility themselves to freaking murder Goku before he did something this utterly stupid.

Well I was gonna tell you how irked I was with Goku for serving Gohan on a platter on some "Go get em" -$hit but after seeing the episode preview I'm no longer feeling that way...DB been doing that one to me for decades

...

Gotta give whoever some props, though...didn't think they could make a boring-looking wolf do that much cool, next-level Sanji $hit...

With that said, I was still hoping for non-wolf next ep...Oh well...Beerus hugging Supreme Kai satiated me plenty...

I forgot that we have seen Zamasu and Gowasu from Universe 10.
So it is not surprising that some Kaioshins in different universes cannot be all that good.

Shouldn't Gowasu have something to say in the previous and this episode?

Good on Buu. He did his job and handled things nicely. Though really the key was that he really is almost immortal. That guy just didn't have the kind of firepower needed to win. Was just a question of Buu getting serious and fighting through.

A tougher fight ahead for Gohan. He's gotten a few light fights in over the past few years, but that's it. Really could kind of be a rehash of his fight with Dabura. Will have to use the fight to scrape off the rust.

Poor Gohan in general though. He's the one person who knows how much is at stake going forward. Not to mention his rust could be doubly dangerous. Not only putting his life at risk against his opponent, but risking outright being annihilated by Zen. There may be higher expectations on him because he's Goku's son.

Blueknight78 Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2014	wow this fight was really fun, majin buu still pretty op even with only half of his true power(his other half being the dead kid bu) Spoiler for episode 79: and the kaioshin from 9 universe is really a scum, using a "sort of powerup to help the other guy to win and really more and more dangerous zeno-sama become and even with his future self, he really don't care about anything as long he is having fun even allow peoples cheat(wow this can be due to a non official battle) and goku again being goku, you can see how he enjoy all destruction and like zeno he don't care if they are cheating anything is fine for the sake of battle, now i'm really anger about him and really can't recognize goku anymore, really super goku is the most "near villian anti-hero i saw so far) and looks like the "god of destruction dwarf from universe 9 is not a "bad guy" playing the opposite to the kayoshin which is a totally scum. and the "nakama power from santa to bu was really interesting, if you don't have power to protect yourself you are doomed???? in the tournamente???? because he was the only one which take damage while everyone else not even was touched. __________________
