Don't worry, Tron. I'm confident they will have a Season 2 since it's so popular in Japan right now from what I have heard, correct me if I'm wrong.

And now, if I say I'm hoping for Season 2 to cut down on the fanservice and instead get on with the more serious side of things (since I missed Slam Dunk THAT much), then 9 times out of 10 the fanboys will beat the shit out of me.

^ it's indeed popular but popular won't lead into 2nd season. Need more sells because it's lacking at teh moment.

Good point. I agree. So they need more sales before pulling off a Season 2. And how would they do that?

FANSERVICE.

Now that's... Let's just say Sex Sells. They might as well invoke Internet Rule #34 for this one. [/ifyouknowwhatimean]

I don't know.... Hina's Character CD, for example, is enough to melt my brain. And that's just through my ears

BTW, one thing I don't understand... Saki passed to Hina because everyone else was marked. So how come Hina was able to immediately pass the ball to a free Airi?

There.
It's amazing though- Over two hundred loliconic images under the Ro-Kyu-Bu! tag, but not a single decent artwork of Aoi... Not even from Tinkle

In order to beat the 2-3 Zone Defense Suzuridani (the opponents) is using, they need to execute quick passes so as to catch the defense off-guard.

If you have been browsing through this page, under the Simple 2-3 Zone Attack Catgeory:

http://www.coachesclipboard.net/Anim...oneAttack.html

You can see that one option for Saki (1) is to pass to Hina (2) who would quickly pass to Airi (4). Now, even if Airi had the "5" defender on her, she will just use her superior size and strength to score her way through Keishin's (the RKB girls) first 2 points.

This also shows the camaraderie the girls had together. In any sport, especially basketball, it is essential that you know and trust each other.

In contrast, "The best teams in the world consist of people who can't stand each other."

Considering Subaru is not a complete idiot to romance, I think he got the message, but it seemed so disguised within all the basketball talk that I think he sort of lost her real intentions a bit. A confession not a confession had to tell. Well it seemed like Aoi resigning to his desire to coach the girls and her supporting him and sort of everyone wins end I suppose.

It's okay even at episode 12 it's not over until the fat lady sings so Tomoka still has a chance. GO TOMOKA!!!

Nice Madoka x RKB crossover there.

I'm optimistic about a Season 2, but I'm not expecting it any time soon, or even ever, either.

...did Maho really do that "gesture" with her hand while holding a popsicle. I loved Subaru's expression when the camera turned to him I had to watch that scene about 4 times to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

Ultimately, a nice short series to watch but nothing more.

The people drawing this final episode seem to forget whether they are drawing little girls or high school students.

I agree with Serenade, as LN adaption, this one is ok. Not as good as it can be, and as bad as it could get.

As for season 2, I kind of doubt it unless LN got a huge sale boost. If anything this anime suffers from uneven pacing and weird chronology.

Like Serenade said, this series is all about selling moe and loli, baseketball is just a cover up. It's even that way in LN. But for a anime that sells moe and loli, the animation quality is a bit lacking IMO.

Though I have to say, the chat room session is actually my favorite part of the series. I was wondering how they are going implement the chat diary into anime, but it turns out great.

Overall, it's a nice series to past time.

But as far as LN adaption go, it's definitely behind KamiNomi and Mayo Chiki.

Episode 12 Finale

Pretty good ending.
They lost the match but played really good and in the course helped the other team to remind them to have fun while playing instead of just trying to win.

Some freebies

Let's not forget about the star of the show, Hina.

Maho doesn't realize what she is doing? lol

How the heck Subaru ended up on top of Tomoka?

This was easily my favorite loli anime of the year. Going to miss it a lot.

It was a nice episode with a pleasant ending, only thing was that the series in general is sort of in between a lot of different genre without a clear focus, hence it was compromised of a whole lot of things, the sports, the loli fanservice, romance, friendship... and a lot of what you find in these type of anime.

Favourite character of the series was Tomoka sorry to Aoi who came across like a mix between a childhood friend and tsundere character and sadly I've become bored of those. But her VA was brilliant. I swear when in the sauna when she sad I can't be a bride anymore, I heard the phrase:
"mou... kami nii-sama" it sounded exactly like Elsie there.

The basketball game was pretty intense with girls giving all they got. They actually played pretty good. Girls were enjoying themselves. The opponent team was good too.
It's a shame they lost.. Subaru was feeling really down after that.
Well, they continued practicing after that & that's the end.
They could've done a better job with this anime...
