Here is a video I put together as a tribute to the Clannad anime series. The main objective of this video is to showcase the non-literal English translations I wrote for its lyrics. The English lyrics are meant to be sung along with the corresponding songs in lieu of the official Japanese lyrics.

Clannad After Story Ending Song - Chiisana Te No Hira

*Aside from synchronizing the English lyrics subtitles with the song, I did very little editing for this video. I felt the ending sequence from the final episode of Clannad Afterstory was already the prefect video accompaniment for this song.

Nice work Commoner.

Anyhow, I'm a big fan of Durarara's 2nd opening sequence and song "Complication"; so having stumbled upon a Clannad one was just a delightful bonus. Not the best it could be, but it does help that it focuses on episode 1 on AS, one of my favorite ones and the last part is pretty nice.

That and the lyrics do some to relate to Clannad AS well enough.

I did not make it, but I still love it. I wish I could make good AMVs like this. What are some good free video editing software? (don't say WMM, I know how to use it, and it's not for AMVs.)

That is a lovely AMV... Not much effects like you see in your average AMV, but they seem to make that work perfectly fine without it... Also I cant remember any free editing softwares... I only know payed ones

Thanks. I don't know why but it feel weird if the video is not doing anything so I added camera handheld effect to it.

I've seen other music vids with the same effect, and as long as it's not over done, I like them that way. It has to fit the story and the mood of the anime, aswell as other aspects, but I liked it this way.

I use Sony Vegas. As the the camera, I always carry my camera with me taking photograph of random stuff. I used the camera movement because camera are used for memories and those are their memories.. If i didn't use the camera I'll probably would have add some flashy effect to it.

Oh so your type of amv maker like me that always likes to add some certain effect to videos right?

Yeah... It looks kinda plain if you don't. I like to add heavy effect to it but my laptop sucks.. it always take so long to buffer and stuff so I can't do those heavy flashy effects.

Clannad Episode 18 Ending Song - Over

*The video revolves around the relationship between Kyou and Tomoya. I thought this would be appropriate since Over is based on Like the Wind which is the instrumental character theme for Kyou.
