Very pleased. I've liked most of their dubs. I'll be interesting who they pick for Akira.

Still haven't watch the series, but will it be going for a new season?

No, they're making two movies to follow up on the series.

Apart from the unrelated manga of the same name, the only medium seems to be the anime.

A manga adaptation would be cool you know. Or a cute mini Sakira spin-off to make up for the romance-lack near the end ;D

Isn't there suppose to be a novel version of the series coming out though?

Actually, there is novel adaptation. AFAIK it's running (or it was running) in the literary magazine Davinci. It's written by Kamiyama himself.

Whenever I think of Eden of the East, I strangely think of dingleberries.

Not exactly similar to EotE's cellphones, but in Netherlands they are in a developing phase for a phone which offers similar features to the one we are familiar with. It looks amazing to be honest.

We are getting close to Eden!

This works via geotagging rather than image recognition. Anyone wants to start taking bets on when we get an Eden App?

What I'm betting on is that Google will own an Eden App (either self-developed or bought).

Is that a light novel or a normal novel? Also will it be translated? If so do you know when?

Normal novel. And no, I don't think we're going to see it translated any time soon.

A bit late for the show (or bit early for the movie?) but I came across an interesting piece of information about an iPhone app. It's called Sekai Camera, which reminds me of the innovation of the gang in this show.

Close, very close.
