Following the success of Meteor Garden/Hana Yori Dango, seems like Taiwan production plans to produce another live action series based off Japanese's popular manga Hayate no Gotoku.

Park Shin Hye (a Korean actress) as Sanzenin Nagi

What the (omitted), Hayate no Gotoku live-action?! How on earth is Hayate even adaptable for live-action? It's so over the top and ouver exaggerated with talking white tigers from Africa, berserk orange robots, professional butlers and whatnot. Not to mention the craploads of anime/manga/game references. Plus, being Taiwanese means no Wakamoto as the narrator. This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I'll be keeping an eye on this news, just to see how it goes.

can someone pm me about more info on hayate no gotoku going live and when it would happen. So I can brace myself for impact when I would tried to watch it. Despite me loving hayate no gotoku and still love to see how it turn into live it's just that...... sound bad news all over it.

And wait for To Love-Ru live action series also and it will be Korean. Like Negima! (J-Drama) or Hayate no Gotoku! (TW-Drama), it's feature a boy with a female voice surrounded by many girls.

Personally i'd love to see how Taiwan live action version of Hayate no Gotoku would play out. I'm guessing it'll do away with most of the anime/manga/game jokes, and just focus on the drama side of the series. I'm all for seeing how that would play out.

I'm guessing a thread should be created over in the Hayate no Gotoku section.
