They share the same reactions, the same expressions, and the same positions, pratically in every panel.
Their personalities are very very close, and I think they are the most complex characters in the manga. Chihiro could seem a "plain" character, but she is the most realistic girl, actually, and Keima with her is less "fake" than with the other targets. Look at here

his behaviour is more natural and sincere.
So, I think it will be really interesting if the one without goddess will be Chihiro, because, with her being "an ordinary girl", she is the least stereotypical girl in TWGOK. All the others (the sportive type, the librarian, the teacher, etc.) could be the heroines of a galge. Chihiro, being "generic", no, but just for this she is the most realistic one.

You could think that I'm a Chihiro freak

, well, it's true that I like her very much, but I love also Tenri and Haqua, so what I'm saying is not biased...I really think Chihiro's characterization and her relation with Keima have the most realistic touch, so I believe that Wakaki could consider her like a wild card able to bring some important character development in Keima.

I agree with alot of what you have said exept I'm more of a Ayumi fan than Chihiro, while I find Chihiro very natural I disagree that she is a the most realistic, realistic yes but most realistic I disagree, cause I think Wakaki makes it a point to make all the captures actually have a very realistic feel to them by having each character have a very everyday life issue so I can't see anyone having a more realistic character than another. I can see Hakua being just as realistic, the kind who is always been good at everything in school but when push comes to shove they find it hard to succeed in the real world.

I think the thing that cut him up the most about Chihiro insulting him is the fact he was called down reality which is why to counter that he went to live in the game world.

Ayumi is also a very realistic character, faking an injury because of external pressure, I find it just as realistic as the plainess of Chihiro's character. While Keima is more "soppy" as you say but that the kind of response that gives a pick me up, the reason his reactions with Chihiro seems more natural I believe is beacuse of the nature of the capture, since he did not try to capture her but in the end it was sort of an unexpected developement for Keima.

Maybe they have them all over town to detect them if they appear. Mars didn't see Apollo's warning so she didn't know to hide herself.

I personally believe her level up might be even higher... LEVEL4! :P.. .everything is level 4 these days, eg- dgrayman... etc... :P

Seriously though, With Vintage in the shadows, she might not even make it, I personally can not see Keima doing something like risking his life to protect Yui and doing something heroic.... I don't I just can't see it with Keima's personality, I could be wrong though.

Honestly speaking, I think Shiori would be the one to rescue them both since they are going to be ambushed by Vintage. With the Goddess Minerva - after all she was the one who overheard their date at Disneyland.

Poor Shiori is going to have a rude awakening if Mars were to comment about Yui liking a guy being a "boy" herself. And what is with that parting expression on her face?
