Yeah I think this are the only one that can(Cruz if gain power)...maybe AnN as well. Blade and Eve cant for sure.

What Soji said but I can add a bit more detail.

There was a group scanlating from Chapter 11 onward but they only did a release about every month. Then they began facing some delays and it was a while in between releases. Another group decided to start at Chapter 50, where the anime and manga branched off, and scanlate all the new chapters leaving somewhere between 23-49 unscanlated. The reason they started at 50 was because the manga and anime were close enough to the same and people were eager to read the new chapters. Different groups/members have come and gone since then, but they've caught up to the current releases and are now going back to release all the forgotten chapters.

If that statement is true, which can be debated, then it might mean the Second Christ does not want to return to the world where he had been killed by Triple Six to be their slave. It could help explain why Saten allowed Cruz to die and then get healed by Eve.

Now suppose this is true. Suppose that is what Disk saw in Cruz at the beginning of the City arc and why she only told Blade and Eve about the secret. They realize that letting Cruz get caught by Triple Six would be disastrous which is why they knocked Cruz out when they were departing to the City. The theory could also be used in the whole "gentle hands of light"/stopping Aruka during her attack/ANn appearance/superhuman strength(or endurance or survivibility)/whatever.

Of course, this idea still has a few holes in it which have yet to be worked out but it's a rough concept at this stage, especially after just reading the chapter and piecing things together from various parts. I haven't fully bought into the theory yet but if there is more evidence and it holds up against some other areas of the manga, I might look into the idea more than I do now.

I like it, it’s a good theory, and it would certainly explain some of the unusual things that have happened to Cruz over the course of the series. Like you said there are a few holes with it, but it’s certainly a good starting point. Whatever the truth about Cruz turns out to be, it’s going to be a lot of fun seeing how many hints we caught or missed when it all comes out.

btw, this has been bugging me for awhile, why didn't blade ever learn doppelgänger? atleast the selfregeneration ability would have come in handy quite a few times...

As others above me have mentioned, the answer lies within the Memory Arc, which is the arc that came before the current one. It begins at roughly chapter 74.

I have to wonder, how did Arclight survive a year without a heart? Is Doppleganger able to serve as a functional cirulatory system in spite of the calorie drain that constant usage of the power would cause?
