You know now that i think about it I feel pretty retarded for not seeing the spoiler for 100 coming.

Spoiler for Thoughts on what might happen after spoiler for chp 100:

in chap 99 Kazama says to Haruto the only person he could entrust Kiyomi to would be Haruto. At the time i thought it was stupid and he was brushing off his confession. Well too me that was a big hint from Seo. Whenever a character starts talking about entrusting someone close to him to his best friend well that a sure sign of bad things to come. We have seen it so many times and it just never dawned on me till i re read the chapter.

On top of that Kiyomi will never get a chance to realize her love for Kazama in a way she lost to Eba as well after that declaration in chap 99. Kazama dies still with Eba so where does that leave Kiyomi?

Eba is going to need time after Kazama's death. Im pretty sure we will see her pulling away from Haruto a bit. As of right now the only guy Kiyomi has formed any type of bond with is Haruto they have an understanding and for a strong headed girl she actually listens to Haruto. She will need a shoulder to cry on and Haruto being the kind of guy he is. He will remember what Kazama asked of him.

Not saying Kiyomi will become a love interest but i expect to see her and Haruto to spend time trying to comfort her because she is going to have a shit fit. Also, she is going to blame Eba in someway for Kazama having the surgery and dying.

This is uncharted territory for manga authors. Lets just hope that Seo really has some inkling of an idea of what he's doing.

The chapter ending was really sweet too. Kazama living up to his word and all. But there is just so much to say. I mean, if it wasn't for Haruto, Kazama would not have had that surgery. But Kiyomi is probably blaming herself now because she was the first one who wanted him to do it. And poor Yuzuki. I don't think she will go running back to Haruto anytime soon, and that I think is good. It would look really bad if she went to Haruto right away. But I still think he can say something to her instead of just walking by her...I think. I don't know, we need another chapter to know where everyone is standing with this. What's also funny is that I said I had hoped this would happen. I think I'll take that back.now.

Due to my dislike for Kazama I thought he said it to kill his competition and remove his guilt about his childhood friend's feelings...lol. But you're right. It was most probably a foresight from the author. It seems to imply that Kazama will die, and Haruto will remember those words and tend to Kiyomi for some time. I'm not saying they'll have mutual feelings, but Haruto will definitely be there when Kiyomi needs him.

seriously.... this has already stabbed the back of some.... and we cant say that shit has happened and its all well and good. yuzuki needs some time off as what she did to haruto in the times. kiyomi's gonna stick to him bawling.

I'm a pretty big hater on this comic but even I have to say the beginning of this chapter had some pretty astute observations on how people talk about the dead immediately before (Usually during too) a funeral. He cheats a little bit at the end to help hide the secret but it's forigvable and would've been effective for the pure shock value.... had anyone actually cared about/liked the character.

Just like in Suzuka, the characters perception of what's considered either acceptable or even likable characteristics is so twisted it creates a huge disconnect for me with the story. Seriously, Kazama was pretty lacking in redeeming qualities. The idea that he was sick with some mysterious illness was used as a catch-all to excuse his shitty personality/bad behavior. And.... he was supposed to be the main guy's best friend.... yeah.

I find his character rather ironic in a funny way. Here he was trying to cheer emo Haruto up when things weren't going so well locating and talking to Eba. However, it was Kazama himself that was unknowingly the third party causing said emoness. You just have to laugh at that...

I feel Seo took the manga in the right step in this direction. I also think he left a very large issue here. "Who won?". In a sense, we, as readers are left to think that Haruto may eventually win Yuzuki by default. An empty victory. Or is it? I will make no comparisons to Suzuka (which is too easy to do). Frankly, I think Seo is aware of this himself, but wishes to take it in another direction.

What if Yuzuki is sad that Kazama is dead, but deep inside is deeply guilty because she was glad. Now she is free to pursue Haruto (eventually). How will her battle between guilt and her desire to be with Haruto play out?

I think Haruto will give up on, for the time being, on Yuzuki out of a sense of duty to Kazama. I think he has alot in common with Kiyomi and will start a relationship with her. I believe that the "jealousy" factor in Yuzuki may precipitate her eventual get together with him.

I don't believe this will happen, and may paint Yuzuki as a very dark and disturbed woman. However, she is selfish and it would be interesting to see the "selfish" girl win scenario. However, given this is a new kind of arc for Seo. I have a very slim hope that 2nd girl wins scenario could happen as well. It would make this mangaka a classic instead of a train wreck.

Here is hoping, but Seo is finally doing something decent for a change...and I am a big critic of his writing.

i be honest theirs was a kind of a foreshadow of the last chapter possibly Haruto and Kiyomi maybe? this chapter was so depressing it just ruin my mood and leave a severe after thought in my mind. if Haruto goes for eba right after this chapter i lost all respect for him same goes for Eba if she tries to go after Haruto without giving time she would be shameless and mostly disrespectful to Haruto and Kazama, man Seo really is good on how to pull the reader emotion out Example"Love letter" "suzuka" and "Half and Half" at least that what i think

after reading chap 100, i was like wtf.... so maybe haruto has to somehow comfort eba and she may not jump back into haruto's arms right away, but isn't that just a 'convient' way to remove a love rival? like what's the whole point of this arc? to make his childhood friend kiss him? to give him a new love interest or two? (kiyomi and the girl with the dialect)

im really starting to lose confidence in this series. probably seo isn't good with "reverse harems", he should just stick to normal harems
