One of the biggest plot points in Achiga is the fact Harue's team didn't make it to the finals, which means they didn't even get second place in the semis. Don't worry, you'll get your suffering.

At this point we should all expect Nodoka to ruin all things fun, not much of an excuse there. And her boobs stopped being fun a long time ago, even Touka has had enough.

With the wind I see it possible. And for Saki's mom it's too bad but you are right. I just remembered wrong Kokaji age because Kyouko's always saying 20 year ago.
Still the back of the girl remind me of Teru (it's not her but it look like her with longer hair for me)

Wait, I just had a thought. Even if she's not among the highschoolers, maybe Saki's mom could be one of the pros at that time. Wouldn't that be something? To have the original Miyanaga monster being the mentor of the mentors, including the second best player in the world.

That would be pretty cool too, and super adorable. Just imagine a mini Teru pulling Kokaji's cheeks.

My theory for MC is Saki and Teru older sister. In Miyanaga picture we last saw unknown girl near goldfish. If spinoff link to main story of saki, this is probably best choice. Shinohayu is school name and Miyanaga mama as coach.

That girl lack Miyanaga horn though.

Girl in the picture only has a slight horn from what I remember but the hair doesn't seem right.

EDIT: saw where you said it was the one near goldfish so that might actually be possible since we only see her waist.

That sounds kind of outhere. If there will be any relation to the Miyanaga family, it will probably be a bit more indirect than that.

We won't see any Miyanaga in this one, unless the mysterious girl at the end turns out to be a distant cousin, ala Funa-Q to the Atago family.

It's actually likelier for a random Miyanaga matriarch spotting really. Now the question will be whether she turns out to be similar to Nishizumi Shiho, or Belldandy...

Late to this because I've been without a proper computer for a few days. Am freakin' psyched though, Kokaji is one of my favourite three Sakis.

Igarashi's art looks like it's improved for some reason, from the previews it actually took me a couple minutes to remember/realize it wasn't Ritz.

Still don't approve of the Nodoka bashing ITT...she adds a vital perspective to the Saki worldview. Also Ritz' love for Nodoka is honestly fucking awesome, it makes me love Ritz more.

I'm at work right now, though, so I can't provide images. This would help explain why no one has mentioned her so far and increase the chances of her appearance in the main series, maybe as a commentor for the finals.
