Yeah, that album is really sick. I highly recommend downloading it from their website(legally) to anyone who's a fan of Final Fantasy VII.

most of these songs were made by the same ppl who made the other mixes on ocremix, usually in collaboration with each other, and this has been a project going on for awhile now [now its obviosly finsihed] so i dunno if u could rly call it amateurish, but like i said it mite not appeal to every1, infact i didnt like a few of the tracks and preferred some of the ocremix version over it too.

@kadenza
I take it you browse the OCR forums often? I don't like the submissions of that site nowadays. I'd rather listen to .spc or .nsf files rather than the recent mixes the composers have been churning out. It just doesn't feel the same anymore. Whats your thoughts on that? |

ya, as a fellow musician/producer i see a general trend in ocr tracks where the focus of the tracks is more on the synth quality richness/sound quality [and also the repeated use of similar synths/instruments] rather then melody, arrangement etc resulting in pretty boring stuff, i.e. too formulated for its own good [less artistry , creativity, ingenuity] =/ i still cant believe no1 on it has done a good tekken 2 intro track remix but meh nvm, the originals pretty hard to beat imo
