Just "lrn to right" problem . Yea, I notice mistakes too, but I get what's being said.

Atleast it's something after all.

I just know that umineko's moral is going to be "Don't be greedy, don't hold grudges" etc. Ryukishi always has a nice way to add in some morals into it. When we take in consideration peroyasha's take on the riddle.

Quote:
Beatrice continuously mentions true magic is love.
If love is true magic then the riddle could mean…
First night, the 6 people who need to be kill (their anger) are the parents.
The second night, two need to be separated (mentions nothing about killing. I think this might mean separate Kinzo from “Beatrice”).
Third night, think of (what) my name (means: love?)
Fourth night on, the riddle says 抉りて殺せis used. Maybe this means to hollow (empty/forget)? Empty/forget your head, your chest (heart?), your stomach (腹黒思い?), your knees and legs (your support… money?).
Once the witch (love) is reborn none of that will be needed?
Your journey will end and you’ll be in the golden land…
I concentrate on the treasure;

 魔女は賢者を讃え、四つの宝を授けるだろう。
The Witch will praise the wise, and should bestow four treasures.
 一つは、黄金郷の全ての黄金。
One shall be, all the gold from the Golden Land.
 一つは、全ての死者の魂を蘇らせ。
One shall be, the resurrection of the souls of all the dead.
 一つは、失った愛すらも蘇らせる。
One shall be, even the resurrection of the lost love.
 一つは、魔女を永遠に眠りにつかせよう。
One shall be, to put the Witch to sleep for all time.

 安らかに眠れ、我が最愛の魔女ベアトリーチェ。
Sleep peacefully, my most beloved witch, Beatrice.

The witch here is literally "Beatrice", but one may also think its Kinzo. He'll divide his fortune to the people, whom finally found peace. The resurrection is most likely descriptive and has no value. Resurrection of lost love, could refer to Kinzo's love of Beatrice, the hate which the parents had between them, but are now gone. The witch now mentioned is the evil.

The last line is no doubt just there, but could be intrepted as Kinzo refering to himself, he can die peacefully knowing that theres no more strife.

The manga is incredibly misleading IMO. Everyone's so crazy .

I'm not a jap speaker, so I wouldn't know. The problem with japanese kanji is that they (the kanji) can mean different things, kanji is shared among words. I believe that "抉りて殺せ" means "to gouge and kill".

Literally, that's what it means

however, it's a poem
so, who knows the real intention of the author...

I better go ask my jap teacher then

However, did any of u guys see the resemblance between Agatha Christie's
"and Then There were none" and Umineko?

people trapped in an isolated island,
a poem foreshadowing the killing,
and people began to act paranoid and starts to kill each other

so maybe the poem's just a poem, but that's just my guess
since after all, it's Ryukishi07 we are talking about here
however, I find it more interesting on how the chambers were set up

Here's something to think of "We do more to elude ourselves than to elude others." nice eh?

Currently though Rosa is the most suspicious, it can be anyone really.

The fact is that based on Sherlock Holmes' theory:
"When there's no other choices left, the one's that's left, no matter how unbelievable that is, is the true answer"
So I'd say we are still Mada Mada, needs more logic to this

Wait do we know when Kinzo became obsessed with black magic? I also have a feeling Beatrice maybe someone he knew a long while ago. I wonder who his wife was.

They were saying in the unofficial chinese trans'group board
that Gumasawa might be the Beatrice he was talking about long time ago
but according to story-logic, it's almost impossible for Gumasawa to be the murderer Beatrice
So I'd say... yea let guesses be guesses

I don't remember well
But in the first episode, near the end, Genji hints that Kinzo had a mistress (beatrice) and that his marriage with his oficial wife was for convenience of the families. Then, Beatrice died (more tan 30 years ago, so 1986 - 30 = 1956-) and Kinzo became obsessed with Black magic to revive her (he already had used it to summon her, also they say).

Just read the Umineko Manga of Ep1 (Only 'till they discovered the results of First Twilight)
Indeed bloody...I don't think anyone faked death there
Rosa's face had only 1/4 left, and you can even see Kruass' brain
Rudolf and Kyrie's faces are...Arrgh, unbelievable, they are even worse than Resident Evil

Hmm I had a feeling Beatrice was someone Kinzo knew and loved a long time ago. It's clear that Kinzo didn't get the gold from Beatrice and mostly its superstition that he got the gold from "Beatrice". But we won't know.

There are theories that Kumazawa = "Beatrice", especially becuase of her name. However, that doesn't mean she's "Golden Witch Beatrice" (short skirt vs long dress version).

Kumazawa seems to know alot of the things that goes on with the servents and Natsuhi, and moves around by herself alot in both Ep1 and Ep2...so I wouldn't be suprised if she dressed up as Beatrice to help Shannon out...also a weird thing is that Kumazawa went out to greet Battler and company in ep1 becuase she "suddenly wanted to buy something"...

Spoiler for Random Thought: Rudolf's "I'll probably be killed tonight":

What are you waiting to post the gore images here?

I was curious about it, since in the game we can only imagine those things

Release date should be Comiket 74... Reading from BT's blog, I think Ryukishi07 and BT are pretty much done and have moved on to fine tuning Ep3, so we should able to see it come out as sechduled.

and if you must see the bloody scenes and can't wait to read the manga yourself...there was a flash posted on 2ch a couple days ago...

Spoiler for Ch6 of Ep1... gory/bloody/gruesome warning...at least it's black and white :heh::
