Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Spare some thought for the zookeepers. It's a dog's life for them.

What do you expect. It is China; it is a dog-eat-dog world there.

World of Warcraft gamer settles legal case with AAMI

Gold farmer buys gold bullion. Gold gets stolen. Insurance company cries foul and sues for fraud.

Few amusing things with this one, the irony aside. But so typical of insurance companies not wanting to payout for what you are paying them for.

Yes, perhaps it's time to let sleeping dogs lie.

Henan zoo that passed dog as lion closes
Quote:
Luohe, Henan (Aug 16, Fri): A Chinese zoo ridiculed for disguising a dog as a lion has shut down temporarily for "rectification", media reported today.

The zoo in central China's Henan province has "altered several misnamed animal signs", the Beijing Times reported, adding that zoo officials have issued a public apology and "closed for rectification".

Three other species housed incorrectly in the zoo reportedly included two coypu rodents in a snake's cage, a white fox in a leopard's den, and another dog in a wolf pen.

The authorities in the park in the city of Luohe, where the zoo was located, said the facility had been contracted out to a private zookeeper since 1998.

out here in the US the insurance company have state limit on how much we pay for precious metal ($500). I am guessing our Down-under cousins will have similar limits on their home policy soon.

XXX superhero parodies may help save porn film industry:

"Parodies, once a cheaply filmed niche segment of the adult movie market, are big
business these days — filled with expensive special effects, real story lines, actors who
can (sometimes) actually act and costumes that even comic book geeks find
authentic."

"The porn parody superhero revolution seems to have begun in earnest around 2010, when
veteran adult film director Axel Braun, who boasts of having a collection of DC and Marvel
comics dating to his childhood, brought his “Batman XXX” film to Vivid Entertainment Group.

Steven Hirsch, the company’s chief executive, initially was not that impressed. But when the
film became the biggest-selling and renting video of the year, Hirsch said, he quickly realized
there was a core demographic his business was overlooking: comic book geeks."

*reads the article*

Sooooo... this literally has nothing to do with WoW gold farming.
The entire paragraph describing her method of income is completely irrelevant to her gold bars in a safe being robbed and stolen.

Thats correct. Which makes it a rightful addition to this thread in more than one way.

Doctors remove fork from penis of 70 year old
Quote:
Canberra, Australia (Aug 20, Tue): Doctors have removed a 10cm fork from the penis of a 70-year-old man who inserted it into his uretha in an attempt to achieve sexual gratification.

The case is considered so unusual that it was written up by three doctors in the International Journal of Surgery Case Report last month.

According to the report, the man turned up at Canberra Hospital emergency department with a bleeding sexual organ.

The Canberra Times says he told doctors that he had inserted the piece of cutlery into his urethra almost 12 hours earlier in an attempt to achieve sexual gratification, but the fork — perhaps unsurprisingly — became stuck.

Doctors were able to feel the fork from outside and remarkable X-ray images showed the utensil wedged into the man's penis.

Medics finally removed the item using forceps and "copious lubrication" while the patient was under a general anaesthetic.

"It is apparent that the human mind is uninhibited let alone creative," the doctors wrote.

What's your point?

The poor man is in pain. No need to skewer his pride any further.
