Wow, TPA came back from being one game behind, amazing.
I gotta say, I just love how this whole E-Sports scene is constantly evolving and growing. I mean look at how professionally this entire tournament was helt. Greatly knowledgable commentators, very good announcers ... even the chick knew what she was talking about, which is something you rarely saw in E-Sports until a few years ago. The audience was huge and really into it, there were insightful interviews and an even better coverage regarding all the individual players, including their strenghts and achievements. If I had a hat, I'd definitely draw it before Riot and everyone else who was involved in the organization of this tournament. I love seeing video games becomming more and more popular and this second world championship of League of Legends has got to be the biggest achievement in the scene so far. Well done!

It was a good package. And when you see League of Legends having 32 million users and 12 million online each day, says Riot Games is in a good state. You'd figure Blizzard could have gone this way with Starcraft 2 or WoW arena matches considering their revenue, but they never seemed to put enough into it. And yeah, you'd figure DotA could have, but that community has always been very internalised and aloof.
As long as the screen sniping issues and avoiding the tech stall happens next year, Riot will roll on. Btw, are people convinced Championship Riven is worth it? I'm not. Riven as a blonde? I loved her white hair - it was so central to her character. And yeah, Battle Bunny Riven is kind of hard to top.

I just got Champion ship Riven, I like it so far.
But I like Bunny Riven more but since the Skin only is for sale for only a Week i just bought it. Can't waste a nice chance like that. EDIT: I just found out that Riven's Q still has green particle effects on the New champion ship skin. Hopefully Riot will patch that up soon in the near future.

Now that I saw it in-game, I prefer the original skin as well...or the battle bunny, which is just awesome
So, finally got my hands on Kha'zix after a long row of dodgers. Tried out a solo top bruiser build and a carry jungler one. Favourite evolution: spike racks, coz the visual is cool I left out his ultimate's evo because two stealth instances are always enough to get a kill even on the fastest runners; the slow from void spikes and phage/mallet/red is more than enough to catch up and finish them off, before leaping away in style. My most unfortunate gank was on a bot lane with Blitz, he actually pulled me right after I used leap, effectively canceling it =/ All in all, a very fun champion to play as and a decent opponent. I hope we'll see him in the season 3 tournaments for epic kills and escapes. |
