Hope it finds a place within the anime's ending sequence.
Most likely the B-side of the single, Kekkai IN MY BED, will be the song that's actually her style.

I'm starting to really like the one piano song that keeps getting used during those recaps of the Universal Century. Does anyone know if that's one of the masters or a completely original piece? It kind of sounds like the Moonlight Sonata to me.

ANN review for Unicorn Volume 1 is out.

"Overall : B+
Story : B
Animation : A
Art : B+
Music : B+

+ Excellent visuals, plays to the core of the Universal Century
− Not for newcomers, falls into a few too many of the Gundam clichés"

Wow, that's like the equivalent of a Theron Martin A+ or a Carl Kimlinger B- .

I wouldn't be quite so critical of UC's plot. It seems like he wants to see something new and fundamentally different, but UC is a 30th anniversary nostalgia fest.

What exactly is a Gundam cliché?

In Unicorn's case, it's most likely the "innocent-civillian-teenager-caught-in-midst-of-war-then-found-prototype-mech" that was seen all too often in the first episodes of most Gundam series.

Ah yes....that, that is a bit over played sometimes. But eh, doesn't bother me.

I don't care at all about ANN's ratings, I only showed it to you guys because it is the first review I saw. I'm sure I will love Unicorn, whether ANN likes it or not.

Actually this guy isn't one of the regular reviewers so much as a regular forum poster/contributer (who goes by the handle Penguintruth) who happens to be an old school Gundam fan in the same vein as the core group that are going to be watching Unicorn. I've talked to him quite a few times and we even had some moments where we took on some of the forum trolls during the second season of Gundam 00. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'd trust this review more than I would the average ANN review since this guy a) actually knows what he's talking about and b) has been very fair in the past in the reactions he's posted on forums.

When the Nu-Gundam's Frame is at full power it turns green right before it repels Axis and tosses the other mobile suits away...lol looks like GN particles.

You mean GN Particles look like a lot a Newtype wave.

Despite my limited knowledge, having not obviously seen the anime, his analysis seems spot on, I only disagree about the part about Unicorn being plain. The difference lies in what we want to see from UC - for me, a more nuanced retelling of the classic boy meets GUNDAM story is pretty much all I'm looking for.
