Then the anime fans must willing to buy the DVDs so the anime studio can get more funding to make more Fate anime.

If Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex can be animated into 2 seasons and 1 upcoming movie, surely Fate can do it too with sufficient fan support.

hm, if it comes up for dvd, i might consider buying it. providing they give me Rin, Saber, Illya, Sakura, Rider, and Caster wallie in swimming suits xD (joking). Anyways i will buy it since is such a great series provided i wont get cheated that is copied -___-, copied dvd's are everywhere these days.

hm, havent gotten ep.12 yet = =, but i saw previous posts. but even Rider do manage to survive how would it backup shinji's disappearing command seals.

Heh, i'm already there with ordering the DVD's. ^^;

Another season of F/SN doesn't sound right to me, maybe if they plan out F/HA to be animated.. though that would be pretty extreme in its own way.

Well considering that Fate/Stay Night was prelicensed by Geneon, yes, you'll definitely be able to find non-bootleg R1 DVDs of it. If you're into importing R2, have a look at CDJapan and other reputable online places... remember though, if you're looking to import F/SN, it'll be three episodes per disk (maximum) for around $50-60US per disk. Much cheaper / higher episode counts, and it'll be a fake.

Or if that's not quite your thing, keep an eye on AnimeOnDVD for Geneon's release schedule, and then when you see that F/SN is coming out in R1, pick it up at a reputable retailer - my personal favourite is DVDPacific but your mileage may vary - AoD has a few good ones listed on their site.

I see this series being re-released on Blu Ray Disc in a few years time. So I'll hold out until then.

By that time, I'll have a HDTV in my room along with my PS3 to enjoy the series in ultra high density format.

There's other, stronger servants out there. Saber isn't really 'top dog' so to speak.

Yeah, as far as i know. She has a mana problem, too

She cannot relay on his Masters mana. so cause of that she has to build up her own Mana (lot of eating and sleeping). Thats her weak point at this time i see so far.

That cannot be considered her weak point, but more Shirou's. Sooner or later, that problem will be solved, with Shirou getting stronger, I suppose.

Too bad they never explicitly said who Rider was , though the clues were there.

and about raider, i really believe that she'll came back and... maybe with a new master :P

i have a question, does anyone know surely how many eps will fate have?
was there any official anoucement or something?

You can really see Ilya's evil side in the preview, thats one hell of a evil look to Shirou. >_>

As for episode 12, it brought a few tears to my eyes seeing Sakura, & Rin's look.. really genius stuff with the music that was used.

so far, fate will have 24 episodes. hm, watched ep.12 now, sad to see saber faints after the battle again, *sigh* wth is Shirou doin -__- running up the stairs and not even turning around to see Illya and Berserker seeing him off lol.

I give this one 10, superb fighting scenes and liked Saber's noble phantasm, and rider's as well ^^. Judging from preview, guess Illya is the next one to go?

tears?? in my opinion sakura was miles away of being innocent. she talked, and i'm starting imagine that's not something good, i mean for shirou and saber. i would say that raider i'll haver another master XD but i'm not figuring out how can sakura be it. after all a servant can become a servant of another master, but sakura it isn't a master (or so we think lol)

There is a reason why Sakura is not very popular in Japanese Fate character poll, it would be interesting to see how US anime Fate fans place Sakura in poll. Most Sakura fans in pre Fate anime period are people who loves tragedy and sad characters.

Saber is very Mana demanding Servant class, which is the weak point of the class. You can say Shirou, for being amateur magi, did quite well so far. Saber might be top dog, but this dog needs a lot of mana to work.

Rider advantage is aerial attacks thus she tries to fight Saber on top of skyscraper using terrain advantage.

Well, you gotta know that fans who don't know the whole story are just gonna see her as the character who's in love with the main lead.. though hopefully after episode 12 they'll at least learn that she's a lot more then that.

Yes I saw Excaliber. Yes I saw her noble phantasm. Yes it was cool. But if you really think that's the best deal that's out there, you haven't come face to face to a reality marble yet... I can name 2-3 noble phantasms that are at least on par with hers as well. All in the Fate world. Impressive yes, but strongest no.
