That's quite true.

It's a drama about a man (yes, it's not a teenager this time.) stuck in an actually serious love triangle, and it's not the happiest of anime.

And the one on the right is better.

Yes, it's Haibane Renmei. However, don't think that the anime is full of blood and violence from that picture, because it's not.

I'd say they're all fan-made art, but the middle one is definitely Jura from Vandread.

Could very well be something else entirely, but I figured I'd throw the title out there.

Not that it's likely to help me, but maybe it would help someone else... Were there multiple girls lined up on a single poster, or multiple posters of different girls? Standing? Sitting? Were the characters huge or did they only cover a small part of the girl's backs? Any other details that you might remember or could clarify? (You've probably already said enough, but extra details might jog memories, or might help narrow it down a bit.)

Yeah, 'Neo Ranga' crossed my mind. I remembered it being 199X-ish, and I couldn't remember it's name off the top of my head. Thanks! Thats also why I asked about the size of the 'kanji', and for verification of the air date.

I just took a look and discovered that a thinpack for 'Neo Ranga' was released within the past year and a half. I haven't seen the anime, but Happy_Chip is right; 'Neo Ranga' is likely what Nekokawai is looking for, even though it aired several years ago. At least one of the girls has more then just the large symbol/design tattoos on the small of her back.


'Neo Ranga' is the closest guess, but I'll mention another one while I'm here:

'Those Who Hunt Elves'
Details: The words of an ancient text were scattered across a fantasy world, and were then reformed as tattoos on various parts of several Elven girl's bodies. The main characters have to defeat the elven girls so that the tattoos can be transfered onto the elven-spell-girl that travels with them. (Or, was it into her book?)
I believe the tattooed words in 'Those Who Hunt Elves' weren't just red (if at all), and they weren't from any human language. I want to say they were blue, purple, or several different colors, but I didn't really pay lots of attention to this anime. (sorry) If requested, I can get a friend to check his DVDs for details.

Here is a description I can remember. (NOT kenshin, ninja scroll)

Swordsman, travelling to somewhere. He has two personalities, He has a demonic side and a fairly neutral/nice side. I think his sword has his demon side trapped in there. and when he fights it unleashes and his eyes turn red.

Anyway there are a bunch of enemies, but he has ONE girl, who he protected follows him throughout the anime?

one of his enemies wields a sword and is blind name "Akira" and he uses some ice technique.

I think the main character is "shishou" or something.... "demon eyed swordsman"? along those lines........

This probably isn't very useful description, but PLEASE help me

I watched an anime over 5 years ago, and i have been searching for it again for a while, its a farly long name i think, its a romance anime.

It starts out in a school, with rich and poor, the rich run the school and the poor stay out of the way, a girl was geting teased and hurt by some of the rich guys because she bumped into them, her friend, pushed a black haired guy down the stairs and walked away, she started geting teasted and beeten up brecause of it and a friend of the guy stoped him and helped her, she fell in love and he liked her back but left for amaraca i think, then the first rich guy started liking her and all that. the end was a set up for her and the rich mean guy, he was to get married but it was set up so that she would marry him or somthing and they left on a ship together.
