Anyone also notice that there was also some differences in episode 1 in the animation department such as the fight scenes?? So the seik's they pilot have a limit of sorts and when they go over them they crumble etc... But if the pilot is more capable he/she will last longer hence the selective breeding.

50% of the ep 8 is out. Sure, it is AWESOME, but somehow I regret watching it; it cuts off JUST as it was getting good! Now I have to check online every hour until I get the second half of the episode!

Ep. 8 was awesome, I think that's all that's needed to sum up this episode. Kenshi was awesome and now one big secret has been made public with a grand display... soo awesome!! Oh, whole ep. 08 is out not just half...

It seems the OVA format is poisonous in the current anime fansub climate. I've talked to people on other forums... and it seems month long waits are clearly too much for some people

Clearly they never had to deal with waiting for Macross Zero/Yukikaze/Hellsing Ultimate.

It's normal for the subs to be two episodes behind the latest raw. The TV release is two months ahead of the Blu ray release, and the Subbers only work with Blu Ray files.

They are waiting on Blu ray release of ep 7 before the fansubbing can begin. This means it wouldn't start until after Novermber 27.

EDIT: There is a major update in the character page of the official Isekai website. Good to have a look at them.

Dagmyer just can't admit defeat no matter how often he gets rescued from being beaten up. The city is VERY well armed. The train is awesome. The Mexiah in school had been a fake all along. Doll is a doppelgänger robot, like Zero from Tenchi Muyo, and replicated Mexiah's body and memories in order to gain access to the school. The real Mexiah is a double-agent who isn't really working for Babalun, but pretends to be. The masked lady is the TRUE Mexiah, and so is the ghost-voice version. One would argue that Mexiah is actually physically invisible most of the time in school to hide the fact that there is another Mexiah about. This would, of course, explain why Ulyte speaks to someone you can't see; True Mexiah is living in his quarters in secret. While INVISIBLE. Now, we know doppelgänger robots in the Tenchi metaverse are known to be TOO good, and can end up defecting to the copied person's faction if the conditions are right. But I think in this case Doll genuinely has feelings for Kenshi. The giant grenade launcher was cool. Maria's mum has a dangerous side. One could even say psychotic. Maria knows this, and try to keep her under control. Everyone evacuated, Wahanly suggested going to Chaia's dad for protection. Emera snucked inboard the evacuation team. May have to do with a NEW secret plan Dagmyer has. Possible he wants to oppose his father? Coldine's people became looters. I expected better from them, but thugs will always be just thugs. Next episode: Doll falls in love! __________________

Spoiler for ep8: I have to admit, I didn't see the big revelation coming. Good stuff. I'm still trying to figure out when exactly Doll took over and who was who at what time in ep1. Not to mention how Neizai and Ulyte fit into all of this.
