Yeah, Aaron Dismuke is going to be hard to replace because he was actually playing a character that shared his gender and age range(he was actually younger than Alphonse when he started) when most companies simply use a woman. I want to say that it's too bad his voice matured, but that would be selfish. I guess we just have to hope Maxey Whitehead grows into the role a bit.
Dismuke will be in the series as a different character, though I have no idea who it will be. I don't know what he sounds like now, but I don't think he would fit Lin Yao. |

Yea, I remember reading about and hearing Vic discuss it during an interview. My best guess would be having Aaron play young Hoho, but that's only one ep, and not a very big role when he deserves more. You're right, he wouldn't sound good as Ling. I wonder what they're gonna do.
Actually, now that I think about it some more, you think he'd do Al's body's voice when Ed sees him during ep 26?

I recently saw the Brotherhood dub. I agree that Al's new voice is not as good as the original. It did sound like al sometimes, but sometimes it was higher pitched.
Other than that, The dub's pretty good so far. Then again the dub of the last series was excellent, so no surprise. |
