Something along the lines of Kenichi, Tenjou Tenge & Ikki Tousen. All the school based figthing animes I've seen so far tend to come with Ecchi.. I don't mind Ecchi as long as it isn't over the top like it was with Ikki Tousen. I'd rather have no Ecchi in it at all. In short, School gangs fighting eachother with no Ecchi in it :P

I know these are hard to find since I've been looking for a while:/

It's not hard at all. There is one that it's exactly what you are looking for and has the most obviously simple name possible.

There's one called "School Rumble." I'm not sure what it is but it's probably something do with "school based fighting anime." I just saw a couple of volumes at a Big Lots one day with a friend who bought some of them.

Hm, school, fighting and no ecchi...
Does not exist. School and ecchi go together.
But if gore is your thing and school is not a strict setting, you can try Gantz or Battle Royale.

no fighting in it what so ever its a love triangle comedy

but in my opinion try grappler baki but really doesn't feature much school its a very hard anime your looking for.

Ga-Rei Zero is about two girls who fight for the government and also attend school. Most fighting does not take place at the school, and they never fight other schoolmates, so I'm not sure how well it actually fits into your original question since in Ikkitousen and Kenichi the main characters fight other school kids.

Real Bout High School, practically lives off this.

Not an anime yet, but Beelzebub is a really good one. Has supernatural elements of course, but it keeps it real, once it gets down to it.

Also still a manga, but Angel Densetsu is a MUST read. "School gangs fighting each other with no ecchi" with a twist. Yes I think it's that good.
