It's been fun watching Yammy getting a** wiped for the last two episodes + this one to the courtesy of Kenpachi, and now with Byakuya joining the fray the overkill gets funnier.
Yammy super-oversized form doesn't add anything new that Bleach has delivered so far to the viewers. It only adds to Mayuri's frustration, and both Byakuya and Zaraki's annoyance that the super-oaf may end up being just another rude, big-mouthed scoundrel. Now, for Aizen's speeches. To the anime-only watchers believe me he's going to get even more annoying with his speeches later. Anyways, recent shounen tendencies regarding mastermind villains have shifted their goal inclinations for over the past decade. I accept more the villain type that prioritizes his, her, or its needs to develop into something that will enable escape or mastery over a higher power or over nature, universe, or destiny. What I mean, in Aizen's case he's aiming to become something better that will allow him to be unbound from any types of common sense, nature laws, faith, or anything that forces lifeforms in general and by nature to cling to. Aizen's just cannot fathom and detests the idea to remain a single and insignificant pawn to a higher or universal being, as it is the so referenced but virtually unseen Soul Society King. |
