What burns in your heart?

It can be a song, a verse, a memory or even an item that will make you power up whenever you feel down and defeated. The power to turn things around your way and to maintain till you succeed.

*This thread inspired by Nadesico`s Keep on Burning. Its catchy and its lyrics are quite inspiring. There should be awards for this sort of thing.

hmm things that manage to get me back from being depressed...well it depends what im depressed about...if it is something not related to a problem with friends then my friends can normally get me out of depression but if it is a problem with friends then there is nothing that can really get me out of depression although listening to music does seem to help...music by akino or maaya or shiina etc....or to be specific the song Only One Number One from digi charat, its so kewl

My guitar usually helps if I'm really angry or I listen to some opeth, but mainly what cures any sort of down I'm in is my gf, Azusa. She's such a sweetie. XD

That's hard to say, heh.. When I'm depressed or sad or worried about something it's really hard for me to calm down and cheer up. But I guess talking to my boyfriend always helps.. Thinking about him too. Being with my friends is usually also helpful, specially if we're just joking around and not talking about anything serious.. Listening to music can help a lot, but it can make it worse depending on what it is.. x.x;; Just doing things I like..

Same here, reading would usually be my choice of activity to put my mind elsewhere and think about something else (problem is, it needs a good book to work, which I don't always have). I also often listen to music in this case, but since I usually pick music to fit my mood, I only end up being more depressed .

When you take that shot in basketball and you know it's in... and you simply wait for the sound... "swish"

ah.. that's a good feeling.

That feeling you get after you kill the entire other team by yourself in counter-strike-

ah.. that's a good feeling.

Watching a new episode of your favorite running anime (where's FMA episode 20? =P)

ah.. that's a good feeling.

Bringing smiles to the people you care most about...

ah.. that's a good feeling... and

last but not least, taking a piss after you had to hold it in for a long time... ohhhhhhhhhh ya....

that feeling burns my heart!

"going your days grow up" makes me feel like slaping that author ... so childish ...

edit: but well, for me it's the song 'paint it black", but for some reason it just makes me feel bad while good ~_~
