Well from what I have seen with Madhouse, the majority of their series interpretations follow the manga pretty closely (save a few endings and other bits like CCS Meiling...but on a whole). The examples I listed are how they are graphic with violence. Madhouse "toning it down" just doesn't seem like them.

Regardless of others shows they have animated that are "kid friendly", it means they are a diverse studio. What I was trying to draw a conclusion to was shows like Death Note and Claymore were not toned down. They are of a shounen genre, Death Note in the same weekly magazine. Is there a notable manga where Madhouse's anime interpretation made the violent scenes less so? (one that is perhaps a shounen genre so it could be comparable).

Except that as stated before things like claymore and death note aired way past a kid's bedtime while HunterxHunterv will air in the morning.

That is true I didn't realize the airing times of those shows, but NTV aired Death Note too, maybe it will depend on content regulated by the station too. Or unless we get un-edited DVD versions, which is also another option. I guess we will see what happens.

Goty never said Madhouse don't do adult anime but that it's not the only thing they do.

No, he said that Madhouse was not specialized in "adult series", and that's not true, because it's a study that has many series like that.

Or they make fanservice titles like Tenjou Tenge, Needless, Kamen no Maid Guy, Strawberry Panic, Ichigo 100%, Highschool of the Dead and Clamp stuff.

needs to be longer than 45 episodes >.> Unless they are pretty damn close to the story but it would still feel a bit rushed.

Looks like Madhouse is quite serious about this being their flagship, year-round show, which it hasn't done in a long time. Hopefully it'll turn out as good as to justify their confidence in this.

45+ which is tentative, meaning they could add even more. Anyway, ANN and 2ch sure are late, we had that posted on the page before this one.

They have to add more. They won't even get to Greed Island with 45+.

45 is probably the amount of epidodes approved right now, more probably depends of how well it does.

So up to GI or end of GI? 45 episodes is so short.

Once again, that's the tentative amount, meaning the anime will probably be extended if it's a success, which it will be.
