It was fantastic.


I think I have to be more motivated to promote the original light novel that we have current under way at Baka-Tsuki:

It has been translated up to volume 4, with volume 5 about 2/3 done.



I'm itching to to find more translators to start on the 6th and 7th volume!

I'm sorry to say this but Baka Tsuki has stop translating the novels because it has been already licensed by Del Ray who plan to release the novels this year.

Really? That is news to me.

I guess its a bittersweet discovery.

Mind you the project doesn't say it has been stopped, I wonder if they will still continue with the later parts and just remove the ones being published?

According to someone who translated the Type-Moon lore, there can be only one person who possess the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception because it's so highly improbable for two to exist at the same time. Yet, But since both Shiki of Kara no Kyoukai and Shiki of Tsukihime possess the Mystic Eyes at the same time and both actually exist in Melty Blood which takes place after Tsukihime (and also after Kara no Kyoukai and before Fate/stay Night), the "only one can have the Mystic eyes" theory is disproved thus all three Type-Moon franchise takes place in the same universe.

Wasn't Melty Blood considered a continuation of Satsuki's non-existent normal route? I'm completely recalling this from memory, so this could be completely false.

I thought the idea that they were in separate universes came about partially due to some information in the Tsukihime Plus+Disc in the cafe? I don't have it on my computer, so I can't say for sure.
